I began my day fairly startled as I reached for my alarm and fell out of my bed oww I pushed myself off the floor and turned off the alarm. What a small bed...where was I again? I looked around at the unfamiliar room Oh! I was in a hotel somewhere in that small earth town! Yes... It wasn't my best idea to stay in an awful place like this. I got a better look at the peeling paint and mold in the corners of the room. I glanced at the clock, 5:00 in the morning, eh, I had about two hours till I had to go to that thing they called school. Might as well start walking, the smoke was giving me a headache.
I slipped into the required school uniform as fast as I could. It was a nice fit but I couldn't help but gag at the color scheme. "Eww why can't they use any color?" I said taking a peak at all the people with bright clothes outside my window. I sighed, packed up the few thing I called my belongings and left the small hotel room.
I headed in the direction of the school, browsing through my magazines on homes and jobs. From what I heard from Amilia, I needed alot of money to buy and keep an apartment complex,more money than I had, and I needed a job to get that money, which means I would have to stay in some more hotels or even a park... I grimaced at the thought of sleeping in one of those smoke filled rooms again, maybe a park this time.
I continued to browse till I came across a job that caught my eye, a cafe downtown was hiring servers. Maybe I should give that a shot? I have fairly good memory and it seemes like it would come in handy in the future. Why not? I scribbled down the address in my note book. I would check it out after school. Speaking of which, I found myself on campus, wasn't as far as I thought. From the lack of students, I figured that I was still early. Amilia had told me that my school paper work was already prepared and that I would only need to head to their office where everything else would be set up for me.
I was heading down the long hallway, when I heard a couple of girls cry "Eww where is the janitor? There are about a billion spiders here!" intrigued I walked over to them. A billion? That would be pretty sweet. I was disappointed to find only three medium sized critters, crawling on the window seal. That was not a billion, were people here dumb? Wait, was school for really stupid people?!
"Hey can you count?" I picked the spiders up and held them out "One, Two, Three, There's only three here!" They yelped and ran off. I laughed to myself, man how stupid were they to run away from something a fraction of their size? My previous thought flew to my mind, Playing dumb to blend in? Maybe I'll just shut my mouth for a few days. "Here you go, I placed the spiders on some kid's locker and continued on my way when someone ran into me "Hey watch were you going!
