As an Asian American Immigrant, I would love to create a world which focuses on the English language. The reason why is that because this semester I am taking a writing class and the professor in the class strictly checks and corrects every single errors (words and grammars) that students have on their papers. With this, I am facing a big problem on all my papers with all the red marks since my English is just a second language and still I am just a leaner.

Another reason for this is because I feel so bad with my English right now. Every time there is a meeting or a group discussion in class, I just stay aside and listen to the classmates to discuss the topic. Even though I have a good idea about the given topic, I want to propose it, I just do not have enough vocabulary to describe the thoughts and ideas within my head. This made me feel so bad. I feel like I am an outsider rather than being in a group of discussion.... There are more, but I think I would not complain about my situation so much in here...

I want to find the way to improve English. So, this world is created in order to help me to improve it, and it is open for everyone who wants to learn English as same as me.

In order to help me to expand the vocabulary, I will throw 5 new words into this world everyday.

Also, it is open for all who already is good in English comes and helps me out. I appreciate that if you could.

1) capability means potentiality.
A capability is something a person or a thing is able to do. It's hard to find a cell phone that doesn't include other capabilities, like taking pictures or storing MP3s.

Inside the word capability is the word ability. Note the fine distinction between them. If you have an ability, it means you know how to do something. If you have a capability, it means you have the power to do something. Buying uranium gives a country the capability of making nuclear weapons, but first they need scientists with the ability to do the work.

2) Monstrous means evil
Monstrous is an adjective that describes something gross or shocking. It can refer to the size, shape, or general look of something. If your face or body is monstrous, it's misshapen and horrifying to look at.

The word monstrous describes something that you'd like to avoid looking at, if at all possible. The word comes from the Latin monstruosus, which means "unnatural, deviating from the natural order, hideous." When discussing size, monstrous means that something or someone is so huge it's frightening. Monstrous can also describe someone or something that's extremely cruel or brutal, like a monstrous dictator or monstrous lies.

3) Typhoon
What a hurricane is to the United States, a typhoon is to South Pacific and Asian nations. It's a giant, rotating storm that brings awesome wind, rain, and destruction.

One thing that makes typhoons like hurricanes—aside from intense weather—is that we give them names. Why? That's a discussion for another day. If you're having a hard time recalling the meaning of typhoon, try this silliness: "The typhoon knocked out all the power. I cannot use the telephoon." You can also remind yourself that typhoon rhymes with another form of harsh weather, the monsoon.

4) Nothing is beyond the reach of his ambition, and his ambition soars at random; he is light-hearted, generous, and enthusiastic; in short, the fledgling bird has discovered that he has wings.

In this sentence, enthusiastic means : having or showing great excitement and interest.

5)Aggression:
It was no longer a war of defense but now a war of ________ and conquest.
Aggression is hostile, purposely unfriendly behavior that can sometimes be violent. A motorist who shows aggression for another may follow too closely, honk the horn, or otherwise try to intimidate.

When someone deliberately tries to make another person feel intimidated or threatened, it's an act of aggression. Forceful, unfriendly behavior towards others is one example of aggression, and one country's hostile action toward another is also a kind of aggression. It's been used since the 1600s to mean "an unprovoked attack," from the Latin root word aggressionem, "attack," and in 1912 aggression was first used to mean generally "hostile behavior."
