“The first thing would be to hide our animal traits. The ears, the tails, the wings, etc,” Taiga explained, glancing into the air to make sure that the humans hadn’t already come for us.
“How would we do that?” Kiki spoke up, looking over to Yume and Lance’s wings. She was right, most of us would be able to hide our ears and tails, but wings were a different story.
Yume laughed, “Like this.” She looked like she was concentrating for a minute, before her wings seemed to melt into her back. “See?” Everyone then turned to Lance, who shrugged and mimicked her.
“There’s that problem solved,” I mumbled, thinking hard. “But it’s not like it’ll be easy for us to disguise ourselves either.” We would be making ourselves more vulnerable by covering our ears, since our hearing would be muffled. “Tails can just be tucked away, but it’s not like we can just walk out with leaves draped over our heads. And we can’t steal.” I crossed my arms, and looked around.
Taiga shook her head, giving me an angry ‘are you serious?’ look “What are you talking about? Then what are we supposed to do?”
