~Kita~
I stared at the new arrival for a few seconds, before sniffing the air lightly. A bobcat? There was already too many cats for my liking, but there wasn’t much I could do about it. I held my hand out to the bobcat, making sure she could tell that I didn’t mean to shake her hand, only to allow her to pass. “Nice to meet you Rylee, I’m Kita.”
Once everyone had finally gotten through the hole, I jumped in behind. True to my world, the cavern was a lot larger than the small entrance. “This way,” I whispered, waving for the group to follow me.
“Are we nearly there?” Yume asked.
I nodded, “Yes, see there’s the exit.” I pointed towards a light, and began to run. “See,” I smiled as the cavern opened up into a secluded area of forest. My face fell as I looked around at the foxes spread around the area, each one of them asleep. “Mama, Papa, I’m home,” I walked over to two foxes sleeping in the corner. “I brought some friends home, I hope that’s ok,” I told them, tears beginning to form in my eyes.
