This is a world I made mostly for my own use, but I made it a public world anyways. I'll be posting things about story outlines, my characters, my comics (including fan comics), WIPs, ect... It's pretty much a world where I can store information and/or plan things. xD
Below are short descriptions of my stories to help you know what's going on. xD It also shows which characters are in which story, along with their extended profile if I have one made. Some stories aren't mentioned because I don't work on/think about them often. Therefore, not all of my characters are mentioned.

Wow, profile time! I haven't done this in forever. This one's for my semi-new character, Noland.
It's pretty late right now (12:30 AM), but I'll just post this up anyway. 8D

General Appearance: Moderately tall with a fair build. I draw his face more rectangular than most of my other characters. Wears wire-rimmed glasses. Has a fatherly appeal about him, despite being a bachelor. Has somewhat timid mannerisms, contrasting with his more masculine build.

(College timeline) Stefan-Falls in love with him and is comfortable speaking with him, but has a habit of keeping secrets from him. Personality: A kind guy, but meek and horribly weak willed. Easily talked into things he doesn't believe in. Desires acceptance. Very much a follower. Self pitying. (I already mentioned most of that in the rest of the profile, huh? xD;)
I feel like Noland is kind of a controversial character, but I personally don't see him as a necessarily bad person. Anyway, most of Noland's story isn't a very happy one, so if you find Noland to be a bad person... well, some of it comes back to bite him, I guess.
...I haven't done one of these profiles in a while, so I guess I can start with what Noland and his life were like in college (backstory, essentially; sorry that it's long), then move into his present timeline when he's in his 30's, then general stuff. This'll probably be a very unorganized profile... xD;;;;
Noland is Stefan's ex-boyfriend from college. I haven't mentioned it much until recently, but Stefan has had 2 girlfriends and 1 boyfriend in the past. So Noland is the only other boy that Stefan's been in a relationship with besides Gabe. But anyway, Noland and Stefan befriend in their senior year of college. They both have similar interests (literature, similar taste in TV shows, etc...), so they quickly become close to each other. Out of his friends, Noland is closest to Stefan; Noland's other friends have a tendency to unintentionally push him around simply because of Noland's pushover-like nature. (Weird sentence;;;) Noland sees Stefan as a slightly haughty, but extremely intelligent man with a soft side. He somewhat idolizes Stefan for his ability to have a strong hold on his own opinions. Over time he realizes that he has romantic feelings toward Stefan; he is the first man that Noland has a crush on that Noland knows personally (as in, not actors/etc).
Because they're fairly close, Stefan picks up that Noland is bisexual; they both come out to each other upon Stefan's inquiry. Similarly, Noland confesses to Stefan; the two of them begin dating some time after. While Stefan is pretty comfortable with letting others understand his orientation, Noland feels insecure about publicly being in a homosexual relationship. For example, Stefan is quick to brush off any gossip or rude remarks made about the two of them, while Noland lets the gossip sink in and trouble him. Furthermore, the two are frequently teased by their friends. In reality they only mean good-natured (albeit annoying) banter, but Noland takes their teasing negatively. His reasoning is that if he was with a girl he wouldn't be hearing any teasing at all, so any teasing is negative teasing. (another weird sentence. .____.) Comparative to other situations, Noland doesn't really receive much negativity from his peers about dating Stefan, but he has a bit of a complex about being accepted by everyone--even people he doesn't know.
Eventually, Noland's insecurities with breaking away from the social norm by being in a same-sex relationship increase to a point that drives him to cheat on Stefan. A combination of off-hand comments by his peers ("You're going to break up with him eventually, aren't you?") and getting involved in the situation of a female classmate of his, Noland engages in an affair. I'm not entirely sure yet, but the affair lasts for about 2 weeks to a month. During this time, he's stressed around both Stefan and the girl he's cheating with (Sorry for the lack of name. xD;), and feels guilty almost all the time.
Inevitably, Stefan does find out that Noland's cheating. Even though Stefan seems willing to make up with Noland, Noland thinks it's best for the two of them to break up and officially ends their relationship. The two of them don't speak to each other for the rest of the school year, and they graduate without fully resolving the conflict.
Out of the two of them, I'd say that Noland is emotionally more effected by his cheating and their break up than Stefan. Obviously it has a fairly big effect on Stefan if you know about Stefan's aversion to romance. But Noland has the guilt of never being able to take away what he did. Even after they graduate, Noland still has feelings for Stefan and the regret of never apologizing to Stefan still brings him anxiety into his present-time story line.
Originally, I had wanted Stefan's ex to be some sort of cool guy or player, because I had decided quite some time ago that Stefan had been cheated on. I thought it'd be reasonable that a loose guy or jerk guy would cheat on someone. But it kept coming back to "Why would Stefan go out with a guy like that?" So I created someone that seemed like he would associate with Stefan, and the rest of it started to fall into place.
The situation I made with Noland ended up being this: Not all people who cheat on other people are jerks or manipulative people; sometimes they're ordinary people who make a big mistake. Now, I'm in no way saying that it's okay to cheat or that if someone cheats on you that you should automatically forgive them. I just wanted to have a story from the perspective of the cheater, rather than the one being cheated on, and explore what kind of impact the situation has on the cheater afterword.
Eventually, Noland does reconcile with Stefan when he's 33. Noland works at a school near his and Stefan's old college, and runs into him (and Gabe) by chance at a restaurant they used to eat at. The event is essentially the three of them talking over drinks, ending with this (sketchily drawn) event that I posted a couple posts earlier. SO YAY, I GUESS?
ANYWAYS, that's Noland's backstory and events with Stefan. Normally I don't like to type out big summaries like that (or do I? xD;;;)... but I felt if I just kept it as "Stef's ex boyfriend who cheated on him" without any reasons, Noland would just be this weirdo jerk to everyone. Not that reasons are an excuse to cheat on someone, but...
AHEM. The rest of this should be shorter, since I won't be revealing everything. So, after college Noland becomes a teacher! His ongoing story follows his first year teaching at a public high school, 11 years after breaking up with Stefan. Here, he befriends another English teacher who considers herself to be Noland's adviser, and a slacker student of his named Chrystal.
Chrystal is one of Noland's students and eventual friend. (she's on the right of that one picture I posted.) Because she frequently disrespects him and fails to follow instructions, he often has to keep her after class to discuss with her her poor behavior. Partially because he keeps her after class so often and partially because she goes out of her way to talk to/bug him, the two of them become (sort of unusual) friends. The two of them become comfortable around each other enough that Noland can talk to her about personal matters (his past with Stefan) and his views on life/etc.
To Noland's dismay, he develops feelings for Chrystal--those of which are somewhere between a romantic crush and fatherly emotions. Initially he tries to deny that he has feelings for her at all, but eventually settles for simply ignoring them. Noland never tells Chrystal that he has feelings for her, nor does he try to be involved romantically with her. Sometimes he thinks that Chrys is aware of his feelings, but he's not entirely sure if she's just messing with him.
I know that TeacherxStudent relationships are pretty creepy (to most people? xD), and that's not what Noland and Chrystal is supposed to be. Instead, it's that Noland knows he has romantic inclinations towards Chrystal but chooses not to pursue his emotions because of Chrys's age and lack of maturity. In my mind, Noland remains a bachelor forever and does not pursue any romantic relationships after developing feelings for Chrystal.
I don't really have a clear direction for Chrys's and Noland's story yet so much as a couple of scenes/events, but idk. I'll get around to doing something with it eventually. I know what one plot twist/climax point of the story is going to be, but I don't want to let that one out of the bag yet. SO THERE!
And here's some random fun facts!
- Noland and Dean are similar characters, but I made them different in that Noland is self-pitying while Dean is optimistic.
- Noland and Dean have the same eye color! This just acts as a physical connection between the two characters. They're in no way related story-wise, except in personality.
- Noland was originally going to be mysteriously foreign! Idk what that means... Turkish, or something. This is when I wanted him to be a mysterious and cool guy, so I thought him being European would make him more mysterious. (???)
- Noland is like my only character with short hair! Aha.... .___.
- Originally, Noland was just going to be Stefan's ex. I had already been thinking about a story between a shy male student and an eccentric female student, so I decided to replace the shy male student with Noland to make it more interesting.

I posted this on my DA, so this might look familiar. This is Stefan's boss! She's the head of the New York branch of the modelling agency that Stefan and Tomato belong to. :D She probably won't appear in the comic, but she appears from time to time in Tomato's backstory. So if I ever draw that, you'll know who she is.
She doesn't have a name yet. :m Any suggestions?
I totally thought I posted this on theOtaku, but... idk, I can't find it. xD; This is a mock sticker sheet of the main characters from OFAV! :D I actually did make stickers out of these using my sticker machine, and stuck them on my physics binder. (why? xD;) I like how Stefan and Dean's came out, but my least favorite is Kasey... Kasey's always my least favorite. Her hairstyle just looks so weird to me... I want to restyle it, but it's already too late, I think. xD;
I also thought I posted this on theO, but... ONCE AGAIN, I GUESS NOT! If you were looking closely, you could see it in his "character development meme" I posted several months ago. This is actually really old, from November of last year. This was probably when I realized that I really enjoy drawing Gabe. :D;

Idk when I drew this, but it's pretty old. I had a sudden urge to draw HMNNNHIIIO and Dare, since HMNNNHIIIO is technically Dare's Pokemon. Idk, I thought it was kind of cute despite its sloppiness. xD;

This is a grapefruit gijinka I did for someone on Gaiaonline. I do a lot of freebies on Gaiaonline, but I don't bother posting them because they're pretty lazy. xD; This one came out cute enough, though. I like a grapefruit color scheme. :V

Hey guys! I'm mostly posting this for my own use so I don't forget this stuff, but take a gander if you want. :M This is a timeline of what Stefan and Gabe were doing before the current OFAV comic strips. I could have included Tomato or Jo in the timeline, but... Tomato was in elementary school when Stefan was in college, so that would be weird to talk about. And I mention Jo occasionally in Gabe's timeline. So there.
YEAH, IDK. I write/draw about this stuff sometimes, so think of this as a brief summary of their lives! 8D And by brief, I mean this is actually kind of long.
There are also a couple characters in Gabe's storyline that I haven't talked about here on theO that I have mentioned on dA. I feel like I should at least officially introduce Will someday...
Pre-2000
Stefan: Age 15-18 in 1995-1998. Graduates in 1998. High school is when he begins to develop his tendencies to speak in a manner such that he's always on someone's good side. (Something he does currently when he's trying to book gigs for Tomato. He doesn't care so much around people he's close to.) Mentally, he's very cynical. He has one girlfriend some time in high school, but she breaks up with him after a couple months. He's not bothered because he didn't have strong feelings for her, but he still tried his hardest to be loving while in the relationship. He begins college in 1998.
Gabe: From 1997-1999, he's in high school (age 15-17). Freshman year he has a secret relationship with a friend of his named Dave. Dave accidentally lets it slip, and puts all the blame on Gabe. Gabe accepts the gossip; comes out at school, but not to his family. For part of freshman and sophomore year, his old friends avoid him. He befriends William mid-sophomore year, which helps bridge the gap of awkwardness (?) between him and his old friends. Gabe develops a crush on Will, but he keeps it a secret all through high school.
On a side note, Will ends up marrying his high school sweetheart later in life.
2000-2001
Stefan: Age 20-21, sophomore to junior year in college. Around this time, Stefan begins to notice he's romantically inclined to men the same way he is to women. His feelings for boys don't really surprise or bother him, but he decides not to mention it to anyone due to the fact that he likes girls and can appear straight if he only shows an interest in women. He has a girlfriend, who this time around he is more serious about. Things initially go well between them, but they slowly drift apart due to personal differences. (Stefan was too serious and unromantic for her taste, something like that.) (obviously I haven't had the chance to thoroughly think about this. xD) Their break-up was a mutual decision, but officially it was Stefan's ex-girlfriend who broke up with Stefan. Late 2001, Stefan befriends Noland.
Gabe: Age 18-19. Gabe graduates from high school in 2000, and does not pursue further education. Gabe comes out to his parents after Jo comes out as bisexual to them. (His parents have suspected for a while that Gabe is gay, but have wanted him to tell them himself.) After high school, his father "makes" him work in an automotive shop. He spend the next two years saving up money so he can move out of his home town and quit his job.
2002
Stefan: Age 22, and a senior in college. Stefan and Noland become close friends. Noland comes out and confesses to Stefan, to which Stefan admits similarly. He and Noland begin dating, but their relationship is more physical than emotional, unlike his previous relationship. (Stefan in the future describes to Gabe that he was "100% infatuated with Noland".) Stefan discovers that Noland has been cheating on him late in their relationship, but seems willing to make up with Noland. However, Noland thinks it best for them to break up and their relationship ends. They don't talk to each other for the rest of their college life.
Stefan graduates in 2002 with a degree in marketing.
Gabe: Age 20. Gabe moves to New York and works as an underwear model. He befriends a British (??) model, and the two of them engage in a long-term physical (but not romantic) relationship.
2003-2005
Stefan: Age 23-25. Stefan is hired at a modelling agency as a booking agent for miscellaneous models from the agency, and an overseer for casting calls and open calls (ie: an audition judge of sorts). Because he works with a variety of models at this time, he doesn't become attached to any particular one as friends or romantically. He is not particularly close to any of his coworkers either, because he tends to focus more on work than socializing--even after work hours. He becomes more comfortable being alone around this time, and his distaste for romance becomes more concrete. He is stationed somewhere in the United States.
Gabe: Age 21-23. While in New York, Gabe often uses his British friend (sorry for the lack of name) as a guinea pig for his hobby of hairstyling. Overtime he discovers he enjoys styling hair more than he enjoys standing around in his underpants in front of a camera--I mean, modelling. Luckily (if you want to call it luck), he gets fired in 2004 for getting a tattoo on his arm. He moves back home that year, and discusses with his sister that he wants to be a hairstylist. They decide they want to team up as a hair-and-make-up duo (Jo just finished cosmetology classes at a community college). The two of them spend 2005 figuring out how to get started, when Gabe throws in the idea of moving to Paris (despite only having mediocre skills in French).
Somewhere in 2004 or 2005, Gabe gets that weird tattoo on his chest. (Not that it's relevant at all...)
2006-2007
Stefan: Age 26-27. Stefan is assigned to Tomato as his personal modelling agent. Initially he finds the 17 year old boy extremely naive and highly annoying. After spending copious amounts of time together (and partially because of accidental flirting on Tomato's part), Stefan develops an awkward crush on Tomato. In late 2007, the two move to Paris on orders from Stefan's boss.
Gabe: Age 24-25. Gabe and Jo move to Paris, France. While Gabe's French is bad, Jo knows enough from high school and miscellaneous classes to help the two of them get by. Some time in 2006 the two of them meet and befriend Kasey, another American living in France. (How the heck...) The three of them then decide to team up as a hair and make-up trio. (??) Gabe spends 2006 and 2007 as a freelance hairstylist, rooming with Jo and Kasey until he acquires enough money for himself. Initially he thinks Kasey is annoying, but they eventually bond over their love for attractive male celebrities. (??????) Oh yeah, and his French does get better over time... Sort of.
2008-2009
Stefan: Age 28-29. In Paris, Tomato finds a boyfriend. Stefan initially thinks that Tomato having a boyfriend should prevent his feelings from becoming too prevalent, but instead he develops a kind of jealousy. As usual, Stefan tries to ignore his feelings.
On his bosses orders, Stefan hires a hair-and-make-up crew for Tomato. I don't know exactly how he finds out about Gabe, Jo, and Kasey (probably through a combination of phone calls, the internet, and the newspaper), but he does and he hires them.
Gabe: Age 26-27. Gabe thinks Stefan is physically attractive right off the bat, but at this point he's not emotionally attracted to him. This is the point in life when he notices he feels the most comfortable where he's at. He loves his job and and the people he spends time with. YAY!
2010
Stefan: Age 30. This is the current year in OFAV! A bit before the comics start, he hires Dean Johnson for help with things besides hair and make-up. He sees Dean more as an intern than an employee initially, but eventually trusts him with important and difficult tasks.
Gabe: Age 28. This is the current year in OFAV! Around this time Gabe begins to develop romantic feelings for Stefan, and tries to become closer to him on a more intimate level.
Even though OFAV technically takes place in 2010, I'll probably still make references to things that happen after 2010. Yes, nonsensicality!
I feel like the timeline ends kind of abruptly. Oh well. Thanks for reading, if you did!
I really don't know why I have all this stuff planned out, considering it NEVER SHOWS UP IN OFAV. Or idk, maybe there'll be references to some of this stuff occasionally...

Yep, so there they are. I wasn't going to make it look like Noland was dropping his books, but... WHATEVZ. His hair looks like whipped cream to me, for some reason. :9 His face was also giving me issues. :I I'm probably going to change it again.
If anyone wants to color this for practice, feel free too! I ENCOURAGE YOU TO. YOU HAVE TO COLOR THIS, OR ELSE. Okay, that last one's not true. But I do like to see how other people color my line arts, for some reason. xD If you color this, make sure you tell me and credit me for the line art.
I've been doing lots of digital art/doodling on sai/etc lately. orz I haven't touched my colored pencils in a while... mostly because I'm too scared to. ;A; I do have a traditionally inked pic that I should color with colored pencils... yeah.

Hey guys! I feel like I always open up with that. Anyways, I mentioned in my Welcome To Dreamland! world that I have some new characters. SO. Here they are.
Noland Strong
Don't try to read everything on there, because I'll just type it out here:
- Noland is Stefan's ex boyfriend. He cheated on Stef and ended the relationship due to embarrassment/ashamedness with boy-boy gossip.
- A kind and meek guy, but horribly weak-willed. Easily talked into things he doesn't believe in. Desires acceptance. Very much a follower. Self pitying. Meant to be compared with Dean Johnson: both have similar personalities and situations, but Dean is stronger in that he doesn't pity himself. (They never actually meet, btw. This is just a comparison of two similar characters.)
- Probably remains a bachelor for the rest of his life.
- Equally or more affected than Stefan by how their relationship ended.
- As far as physical description goes, he's around 5'10, and the same age as Stefan. His story focuses on when he's in college (22) and when he's a high school English teacher (33-ish). He aged quickly, so even in his 30's he looks around the same as he did in college. He has light brown hair and blue-green eyes similar to Dean Johnson's.
Yep, so that's Noland. His story would be about his life as a teacher, and his friendship with his student Chrystal:
I'm too lazy to type everything this time, so POOP TO YOU! My friend came up with her name. I think it's good. :V Chrystal is one of Noland's slacker students who somehow becomes friends with him. She goes by Chrys. Chrys likes to wear this bunny-ear hat thing in school, even though hats aren't allowed in school. She also does not date.
Noland has a crush on her, but due to the fact that he's a teacher and she's his student, he tries to ignore his emotions. (Nothing happens between them in-story, either.)
Idk what grade she's in yet, but I'll figure it out someday.
And here's a comic-thing about Noland! Yay. The first part with Stefan and Noland wasn't really supposed to feed into the comic with Chrys, but oh well. It works well enough, I guess.

And that is the origin of his sunglasses, I guess. He still uses the excuse that he has sensitive eyes. Is it really just because he likes the way they look? The world may never know. ...Because I don't, really.
The only differences between College Stef and Regular Stef is that his hair is slightly different, and that he wore slightly different clothes. xD I think Stefan became more strict with himself as he got older, though. :m
Stefan so wishes he became a model.
