More ambitious piano...

Remember back in the day when I posted the video of the Schubert Trio Shika and I were hoping to learn? Well, we haven't learned it, but that's beside the point. XP

Our pianist for that piece is having us cat-sit for her over Christmas and we just had dinner with her and her husband so she could "show us the ropes" for while they're gone. She's been through a lot recently and hasn't been playing her Yamaha baby grand much, but since she knows I adore her Black Beauty and will put it to good use while I'm staying there, she sat down and played a bit for us (reminded me of some pieces she gave me is more like it). Among the pieces she sampled was the following (ignore the slide show if necessary):

Jim Brickman's Angel Eyes. It's gorgeous and will definitely be added to my repertoire shortly. There's something to be said for the beauty of a solo piano.

In other news...I'll be "unmasking" the thing I ordered in just a few minutes. I'm so excited!! ^-^
