The agony of mornings.

This song, along with 'We didn't Start the Fire', has been stuck in my head for like three days. I thought maybe you guys would enjoy the experience as well.

Over the years, my bedtime has been pushed further back and my morning regimen has only grown.

I used to bed whenever I grew tired, be it eight o'clock or eleven. Now, I stay up late at work, and to finish tedious homework.

Remember the days where waking up meant showering and brushing teeth?

The list of things to do has grown to include washing the face, removing old makeup, using astringent, doing a hair treatment, straightening the hair, applying new makeup, finishing homework, preparing lunch, and double checking that the underclothes are not visible through translucent clothing.
And from time to time watching cartoons because you went to bed too late and woke up early because of it. (If this confuses you, read about sleep cycles.)

Finals begin on Friday, but the only one I have to take is Chem on Monday.
I can't wait for school to be out so I can get SUFFICIENT sleep. Aww, I just realized that i forgot to get sunless tanner while at the grocery store just now. I DID, however, buy five packs of Pop Tarts.

I'm doing the Victory Road thing now in Pokemon Platinum. Tedious, but helpful for farming.

Yucky yucky video

Not yucky in the perverted way...@.@

grrr.

I can has promotion?

Yes, I speak Spanish, and I know what those sad, sad boys are singing about.

Back in my day, we didn't have this "+" nonsense.
Haha, but I'm still excited to announce that after less than one year of otakuite status and two of being Senior Otaku that today I was promoted to....

Senior Otaku +

lol, drama queen.

We celebrate with pictures!

The gold eyeshadow is me before Choir's big Spring production.
The multicolor is me getting ready for my big date with Ed. I couldn't help doing a 'paw' 'cause I had on leopard print. ^^

But no pictures of my glasses yet. I'm still shy about it. I've only had them for a day, after all!

I have so much homework >.<

I got a new SD card. Oh boy.

Oh, and my boyfriend gave me the first Twilight book for a present. <3
It's not literary genius, but hey it's enjoyable.

Story and some news.

**this was not written by me**

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker 's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on.. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.

Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ''I know why.''

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.

He said,''People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?''

The Six-year-old continued,''Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long.''

Live simply.

Love generously.

Care deeply.

Speak kindly.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!

Hello, otaku out there! I mean otaku in the way that you're a member of the site. I want to call you all otakuites like we used to say, but things are different.

I'd post some pics or a vid, but I'm at school. >.< Check out my art or my challenge ^^

I bought glasses Saturday, I'll pick them up on my way to work. I don't think I'll wear them all the time. What a shame. I tried to do contacts. I could take them out, but I got really really nauseous. My vision went black and I got really warm. My glasses are silly. Do you guys and girls wear contacts are glasses? Or are you blessed with good vision like I used to be?
