I woke to the alarm blaring in my ear. With an annoyed groan I hit the snooze button and shifted under the thin sheets. Yesterday it was out of one home, today into another. The last one had almost worked to. Over the last month things had been destroyed just like my childhood home, crashing and burning.
It had all started when a tail had started appearing. No there wasn't an animal in my room, it was my tail. As time passed more cat like body parts started appearing on my person. I had tried and somehow succeeded in hiding these. Than, one morning I had woken up curled in a ball on my pillow. My whole body had fit on the pillow and I freaked. Surprisingly it really didn't take long to realize I had turned into a cat. After figuring that out I somehow changed back into a human.
That whole cat thing is what messed things up. It just kept happening. Every time it happened I hid. Those stupid adults decided I must be sneaking out, and so it went on, with me turning into a cat, and getting scolded for sneaking out every day. In my opinion that had been hell.
So now here I was, going to a new house with new people, and probably a new school with new students. Man I hate my life sometimes. Scratch that, all the time. I Hate My Life.

I shifted nervously outside the school building as I waited for my friends. I had to ask if they were having the same odd issues I was. Okay, maybe randomly catching fire and not being hurt is a bit more than odd.
Okay, where the hell were those guys, I was starting to get pissed.
