SPOTV announced on the 21st that "living legend of e-sports" caster Jeon Yong-joon will be in charge of the e-sports League of Legends (roll) broadcast at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
Following StarCraft broadcasting that led to the growth of e-sports in the past, Caster Jeon Yong-joon played a big role in the role broadcasting that began in 2012, establishing himself as a leading e-sports caster.
Jeon Yong-joon, who has been broadcasting numerous competitions, is the first player to play a national team match.
At the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games, when e-sports were adopted as a pilot event, they were seen cheering locally, making headlines.
"Based on the know-how accumulated over the past years, we will lead 'Cltem' Lee Hyun-woo and 'Nope' Jung Noh-chul to perform their best capabilities," said caster Jeon Yong-joon.
In addition, when asked if the South Korean team would be able to hear "signature shouting" if they reach the final, Castor Jeon Yong-joon replied, "Of course I will, I plan to put everything into the final."
While the LoL match will be held for five days from Monday, the 25th, caster Jeon Yong-joon will join the broadcast from Tuesday, the 26th, and will work with commentators Lee Hyun-woo and Nofe Jeong No-cheol.
The LoL match at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games will be broadcast exclusively on TV on SPOTV, and you can also meet live on PC/mobile on sports OTT service SPOTV NOW.
