After posting a great deal of melodic metal, I felt the need to move in a more progressive direction.

Fates Warning is one of the founding bands of the Progressive Metal movement that started in the 1980s. They began in a similar vein to Iron Maiden, but eventually took their music in an entirely different direction.

Their last album, FWX, was released back in 2004, and was one of the first progressive albums I bought. Here is the song "Heal Me". Enjoy!
