Perhaps because a poster saying 'Saxon' sort of washed over till we knew what it meant....a missing planet is something huge before it even gets very far in to it. Supposing Earth will become a target hence so many characters coming back?

Exactly! I think that's this season's ongoing mystery, like Bad Wolf, Torchwood, and Saxon in the last three. It's creeping me out more than any of those did... o_O

I may very well put money on them mentioning that a planet has vanished. They mentioned a planet being lost in the first episode, and in the second...I think I have found my last few episodes (or perhaps an earlier two parter), either way, dissapearing planets
