I'm very amused by the fact that just yesterday I watched an episode of Law & Order where someone was peddling fake flu vaccines. Sixteen people died! :D

I hate having shots. :(

Shots. ;_; I can't remember the last time I got a flu shot. Immunisations, yes... Flu shots... Hm... Oh well. XD I guess "appointments" are the same every where. When I go to the gp here, I have to wait an hour or two. >.> Meanwhile my head's throbbing, kids are sneazing on me and there's a big sign saying people with appointments will take priority. But people without appointments who come after me get to see the doctor first. O.o At least you took your book. *nods*

I haven't had a flu shot in years. A few years ago (more like two) I got this weird thing where they put some spray up your nose instead of a shot. It was strange...

Though last year I got sick, but I don't think it was the flu.

I cannot recall ever getting a flu shot. We're of some amazingly hardy stock in my household, so we generally don't worry.

It's not even like I'm afraid of needles like I was when I was younger. I dunno. *shrugs*

Oh yeah, the flu is no fun. >>; Winter of my senior year in high school was the last time I caught it, and it led to strep throat as well. Probably the worst I've ever been sick that I can remember.

Come back and listen to it when you have the time. ^^ It's a little more in the Kamelot vein, but as good as Nightwish is, there are also very excellent symphonic metal bands that have male singers too, and Serenity has definitely joined that pack.

I totally misinterpreted the title of your post, XD. The grocery store I work at was giving away free flu shots to all the employees TODAY, I was one of the first people. I now have a huge bruise because of it (I'm glad I don't have a fear of needles though)!

I need to get the flu shot. I use to ignore them until I caught what they are designed to protect against. That was one of the worst experiences in my life for being sick. Now I always get the shot since I never, ever want to get that sick again.

Hmmm, I'm listening to the Oceanborn album by Nighwish at the moment. It was given to me. =3 I'll probably come back to this and check it out a little later.

Last winter, I got the flu for the first time since sixth grade [when I got the stomach flu, yay]. My mom got the flu vaccine last year and ended up getting sick anyways 'cause it was the wrong strand. Wooh!
