I think that is a good plan. I read them in a bit of a random order, but I think chronologically following the main characters is best. I really enjoyed 'Night Watch', I think that was one of the first I read!

I only started recently. ^^ I've read The Color of Magic, The Light Fantastic, and Equal Rites. I only got a little ways into Mort, but when I finish Hogfather I'm going back to Mort and then from there I think I'll focus on the City Watch books. I'll read them by main characters rather than in release order. ^^

A friend of mine was shocked to discover that i've never done the whole 'run to sales ASAP' thing. *shrugs* I suppose book shops don't go in for all that anyway. I prefer book shops to clothes shops ^^
