If you get the title reference you are officially my hero.

Anyways, went to a baseball game today, our minor league team. We lost, but it was still pretty fun, I guess...We came late so we had to go to the stand-only seats...After about two innings we went to the "Fun Zone" (I was with my cousins) to play on the Super Slide. ...well, I actually acted my age what a shock and just sat at a table, eating water ice and texting my broski.

Oh, and I was almost hit with a foul ball!! ^^

Anyways, after the game, they had fireworks. And, don't get me wrong, I love fireworks. But I went to one of these games last year, and they also had fireworks, and the fireworks were REALLY CLOSE to the stadium. Like, across the street close. Like, a chunk of scrapnel fell in the field close. And I was scared out of my mind, and did NOT want to stay this year.

Well, we stayed anyway, and they were CLOSER this year. I basically assumed the fetal position. I was legitimately crying, I was so scared. All I pictured was scrapnel (I've probably butchered that spelling, btw) raining down around me...I was really uptight afterwards, too. Like, my little cousin (violently) spilled lemonade near me and I screamed bloody murder...

This fear of scrapnel does have a legit basis though! I was at a family reunion when I was little, and my older cousin and dad set off fireworks from right behind the fence of the house. I was sitting in a trampoline in the yard with another cousin. And a small chunk of firework landed in the trampoline. Needless to say, we were both out of there and on the porch in an instant...

HEY! Random other fact about me that only two/three people might find interesting...I used to hate the Coldplay song "Fix You." It was one of the three Coldplay songs my mom played (the others being "Clocks" and "Speed of Sound"), and I just HATED it. The beginning, with just the organ-ish sound and Chris Martin's voice, scared the heck out of me. It was also on a CD of pop songs, so that gave it a bad connotation to me, too. And actually, I only very recently (like, sophomore year) relistened to it, actually got past the beginning (which I find pretty now, not scary) and got to the EPIC SEIZURE PART OF EPIC. It's now one of my favorite Coldplay songs. ^^

Please ignore my randomness, I'm a bit delirious. ^^ Tata~!
