The Shinkai produces 3 flowers from the Zanpakutos sheath (the flowers look like those drawn by kids) One of them is used for healing (but can only heal 3 people at any given time) The other to are used for attack and defence simultaneously (like Kifunes from The Captain Amagai Story Arc).
Personality traits: introverted and timid(hides this behind a false positive attitude), high sense of duty, intuitive (has higher than average IQ but relies more on his intuition than well thought out plans), doesn't know how to talk to women one on one except for Yuuka.
Summary:
Short History
Kiyoshi graduated from the Shinigami academy and was drafted into the 12th Squads Scientific research and development section due to his higher than average IQ. But his laziness made him more akin to the development sector than research. He worked with Yuuka who he learnt to easily talk to even though he is weak with talking to girls. She taught him how to use is intuitive genius and thus he respects her highly. Upon learning his Shinkai it was found to be more of a healing type and was thus transferred to the 4th Squad and is now a seated officer.
Present Story:
Tempest has been assigned to look into attacks on Soul Reapers and Humans in the Land of the Living. Yuuka is supposed to go with her but instead asks that Kiyoshi take her place since he once worked in the Scientific Division and as a member of the 4th division his medical expertise would come in handy.
