The end of one road, and the start of another.

-Talos-

I woke up about 3 AM. My chest was burning. I got up and went and got a glass of water.

"I guess my body finally reached its limit."

My eye sight had already faded in my left eye. I can't believe this was happening. I guess my sickness was finally winning. I remember what A told me, 'The disease you have is a rare one, so there's not much we know about it.' Great I was dying, and I knew I only had a few more hours left. I went back to bed.

I woke up around 9 that morning. I got up and got dressed. I could tell my body was starting to get harder and harder to move.

"I guess it's time to right a few wrongs."

I grabbed a few letters I had written and headed into town. My first stop was Kakashi's. I was greeted with a wave then a hello.

"Hello there, Talos. What are you up to this morning?" He asked

"Just trying to make amends for a couple of things I've done wrong."

He set his tea glass down. "What do you mean?" He asked.

"Kakashi you are the first person I've told this, but when I was in the Hidden Cloud village for training, I became very sick. I found out that I have a rare disease and it is destroying my body."

He looked at me. "Have you gone to a doctor here in the village?"

"Yeah but they couldn't really do much for me either. Anyways I've come to ask you to give a couple of people some letters. I would like them delivered after I pass on."

He looked a little sad. "Okay, who are they for?"

"I have one for Satomi, Lee, and lastly Kimiko. I just wrote them thanking them for everything and explained what happened to me. I also have a lot of money saved in the bank. I really don't know what to do with it."

"Why not donate it to an orphanage?"

"I hadn't thought of that, but that's what I'll do. Thank you for everything Kakashi, I'm sorry I wasn't able to go with you on your mission. Be careful."

He nodded and I got up and left. I went down to the bank and had it set up for all my savings to be transferred to the orphanage.

"It's official I have nothing left but my name...."
