The time has come for you to leave.
And this is for the friend I’ve always known you to be.
My friend, my sister, my family.
I hope you always remember me.
You’ll always have a space here with us.
I don’t think I can thank you enough.
You always stood strong when things got tough.
And when it got worse you never gave up.
I’ll miss you more than I can think to say.
But I’ll have a thought for you everyday.
And I will always be with you, come what may.
I’ll always stand beside you; I’ll find a way.
For a friend I know now and knew in the past.
For all of the memories that time will trash.
I don’t believe that time has gone by so fast.
Let this be a symbol of how sisterhood can last.
I will miss you, my sister, the best fate could send.
I believe one day I’ll see you again.
For all our memories and things we tried to defend.
I will remember and this is for you, from a friend.
