It's been an interesting week. Our staff meeting resulted in more fonts being added to the site for posting and commenting. I think it's important to constantly upgrade and improve things if possible. I know I'm happy to see more than four fonts. It did generate some confusion though. o_O And yes you could say drama, hush. =P
For starters, Mac users can see the fonts. If you can't, it's because you have an older computer and you just need to install them. How do I know you can? Adam himself uses a Mac, if they really couldn't see them, he'd know.
Also, if you use a different system like Linux. All it takes is a simple google search to find the fonts where you can legally download and install them on your computer.
So yeah, not sure how that misunderstanding started since I deliberately choose really well known fonts so everyone would be able to use them. I'm planning on getting Adam to add some more later on. But then I always do that, pester him to include more stuff on the site.
And speaking of that, I got an upgrade in my moderation section. :3 This paticular deal lets me delete every single comment a member has made, no matter where it's on the site.
I can see them, but actually tracking them all down and deleting them one by one is a royal pain in the butt. So when someone notified me of a new troll and I talked to Adam about removing the comments all at once, he upgraded the moderation panel since he was the only one who could do that.
This will be extremely helpful since part of what gets people worked up is they respond to trolls and thus fan the flames, instead of just quietly reporting it and letting me deal with it.
Now, I can remove all of the comments immediately and freeze them so they can't bother people. I'm really glad to have the feature since it will make my job much easier. Being able to trim out that kind of nonsense quickly and efficiently to minimize the reaction will be really helpful.
