TrekMovie.com has just reported that the 2009 movie "Star Trek" (better known as "Star Trek XI" or "Star Trek '09") is being nominated for a few awards to be given out at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, while will air on U.S. T.V. network FOX on August 10. While it is nominated for "Best Action/Adventure movie", it's lead actor Chris Pine (who played James T. Kirk in the film itself) is nominated for the award for "Best Fresh Male Face". Eric Bana (who played the movie's villain, Nero) is nominated for the award for "Best Villain" while Zoe Saldana (who played Uhura) is going for Best Action/Adventure Actress. Last, but not least, the Kirk Vs. Spock scene from this "Star Trek" film is going up for the award for "Best Rumble".
To vote in the categories, log onto teenchoiceawards.com, and you must be betwen ages 13 and 19 to vote.
