News: The Coming of Star Trek D.A.C.

For all you video gamers out there, get ready as video game developer Naked Sky (famous for the X-Box Arcade game "Roboblitz") is right now developing the arcade-style space shooter game "Star Trek D.A.C.", which we should expect to be set for release around the time of the release of "Star Trek" (2009), the film basis for the game itself. In this, players (whether in single player or multiplayer modes) will get to take part in a virtual space ship-to-ship combat between the two factions that will oppose each other in the new movie: the United Federation of Planets (whose space exploration/naval force is Starfleet) and the Romulan Star Empire. In addition, this game will introduce starship classes that you will not see in any "Star Trek" film or series, although inspired by starship designs from the upcoming "Star Trek" movie, and the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 will be the UFP flagship in this virtual shooter. Also, there will be downloads of this for X-Box Arcade Playstation Network coming soon.
