For all you fans of the original "Star Trek" who own a blu-ray player, get ready as May 12 will mark the blu-ray release of all the first six movies of the "Star Trek" franchise in one box set. Each of these films star the protagonists of the original "Star Trek", and the set will include the 70-minute feature "Star Trek Summit", featuring a roundtable of "ST: TOS" actors William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy as well as ST: TNG" actors patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, and Whoopi Goldberg.

In addition, April 28 will mark the Blu-ray box set release of the complete first T.V. season of "Star Trek: The Original Series", containing both originally aired and re-edited/remastered versions of each episode. However, the blu-ray box set release dates for "Star Trek: The Original Series" T.V. Seasons 2 and 3 and for "Star Trek: The Animated Series" show have not yet been announced.
