To all you people out there looking forward to the release of the upcoming "Star Trek" film, here's a reminder that despite May 8, 2009 being called the official release of the film by its creating/producing company Paramount Pictures, it's now official that "Star Trek" (2009) will be having a world tour, starting with its gala world premier at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia on April 7. Additionally, this movie will later have gala premieres in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Spain and the UK as well as one in Los Angeles. I have to say, what an impressive move, even in the hope to help the entire "Star Trek" franchise become a bigger international phenomenon than before!
In terms of public theatrical premiers, make sure to click here to see all the theatrical opening dates from countries worldwide for "Star Trek" (2009). Keep in mind that this new movie will be the first film of the "Star Trek" franchise to receive a global premier as it'll open in various countries on the same week.
