Today, TrekMovie.com has reported that scale model manufacturer Quantum Mechanix (also known as "QMx") has finally revealed its first "Star Trek" replica, which happens to be a screen-accurate replica of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 as seen in 2009's "Star Trek". It has a studio scale of 34 inches long x 15.75 inches wide x 7.5 inches high, with a display stand adding 5.25 inches to overall height. According to QMx, there will be two editions of the replica of which copies will be sold to customers ordering, with one of the two editions containing an SFX lighting system. The manufacturer itself will start taking customer orders on September 30.
