Today, U.S. publisher Kodansha USA Publishing reveals that it will release a new English translated version of the 1990s Japanese comic book series "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon" (or simply "Sailor Moon") for the North American markets, and Kodansha Comics is the imprint the company will use to publish it. The version itself will split the entire series into 12 deluxe edition graphic novel volumes with the releasing of volumes to go bi-monthly starting September, 2011.
In addition, Kodansha USA Publishing will also release an English language version of the Sailor Moon-related comic book series "Codename: Sailor V").
This is good news because now North America-based otaku who have never seen/read "Sailor Moon" but want to get to do so will finally be given a chance.
