Chapter 1- The games we played
The soul eater gang were called to the death room. “Wazzup?” yelled Shinigami-sama in an upbeat tone. “Hello” said Maka. “I’ve got a mission for you…” Shinigami-sama started. “What is it? A big star like me can take on anything” proclaimed Black*star. “I need you to track down a creature called the death god demon” said Shinigami-sama, handing a picture to Kid. “She doesn’t look so scary” said Kid. “That’s an old picture; I need you to bring her to the DWMA. Be careful, she’s a bit of a trickster” said Shinigami-sama. “Nothing we can’t handle” said Soul. “Get going” proclaimed Shinigami-sama. The children nodded and walked out of the death room.
They eventually got to the outskirts of the Mizukemuri valley. “This place is creepy” said Liz. “You’re a scaredy cat sis” said Patti. “Stay close so we don’t get lost” said Kid. They walked into the mist and kept close together. “I’ll do what I want yahoo” yelled Black*star, running off. “Black*star, we have to stay together” yelled Tsubaki. She sighed and let him go. *I hope he can handle himself* thought Tsubaki. Everyone could hear a weird tune being sung “Heaven won’t take me and hell won’t break me, forever on the earth I’ll stay”. “Do you guys hear that?” asked Liz, shaking in fear. “Yeah, it sounds like a melancholy lullaby” said Soul. There was a weird thud sound. “What was that?” said Patti.
Karin pushed Black*star up against a tree. “Nice to see visitors these days” she whispered in his ear. “What do you want?” asked Black*star. “I just want to play with you that’s all” said Karin. She nuzzled Black*star’s neck making him blush. “You’re not use to girls are you?” asked Karin. Black*star shook his head. “Well I guess today’s your lucky day” she said. She kissed Black*star and he willingly kissed back. His expression went blank and blue liquid seeped from the corner of his mouth. “Gotcha” she whispered. She tied wire around his wrists and hung him from the tree.
“I’m worried about Black*star” said Tsubaki with a frown. “I have a feeling he’ll be alright” said Maka. A voice continued its song “One man down and two to go, oh what a wonderful game we play”. “Keep your guard up, we need to stay alert from now on” said Kid. Kid turned to face the group. “Everything will be fine” he said. Something wrapped it’s arms around Kid’s waist and he was pulled into the mist. “Kid” screamed Liz and Patti. “Remember what he said, keep your guard up” said Soul.
Karin had a tight grip on Kid’s waist. “What do you want?” Kid asked. “I just want to play with you that’s all” she replied. “Let go of me” he yelled. “Please play the game, I’m oh so lonely” whispered Karin as she let go of his waist, tears in her eyes. Kid felt sorry for the girl, she was all on her own in this valley. “I’ll play for a bit” kid whispered, slightly frustrated. Karin clapped her hands and a tree appeared behind Kid. She pushed him up against it and he struggled to get free. She giggled evilly and tightened her grip. She crashed her lips against his, Kid struggled for a bit but realising it was futile, he kissed back. His expression went blank and green liquid seeped from the corner of his mouth. “Gotcha” she whispered. She wrapped wire around Kid’s wrists and hung him next to Black*star. “I’m making good progress” she said to herself.
“Kid’s gone” said Patti. “I’m sure his fine” said Maka, now doubting herself. The voice sung again sending shivers down the five children’s spines “Two boy down and one to go, oh the game is almost done. Heavenly voices almost gone and soon you’ll be alone”. “Oh, she will pay whoever she is” said Maka, now furious. Soul took a step back from Maka. “Calm down” said Soul. “Soul you have to stay close or…” she was cut off by Soul being pulled into the mist. “Damn it, we need to find the boys” said Maka. The other girls nodded.
Karin held Soul’s hand, tears streaming down her face. “Why are you crying?” asked Soul. “The game is almost over and soon I’ll be alone again” she replied. “What would you like me to do?” asked Soul. He felt sorry for the girl. She clapped her hands and a tree appeared behind Soul. “Just one kiss” she whispered. Soul looked confused. Karin put her lips to his. He was reluctant at first but eventually kissed back. His expression went blank and pink liquid seeped from the corner of his mouth. “Gotcha, the game is complete and I win” she whispered. She tied his wrists with wire and hung him with Kid and Black*star. She sat down and opened a pouch of toffees.
Maka finally guided the girls to the tree were the three boys were hanging. “Oh god” whispered Liz, almost crying. Maka noticed Karin sitting there eating a toffee. “How dare you?” said Maka, picking Karin up by the collar. “I’ve just been playing the game” Karin whispered. “Shinigami-sama has asked us to collect you” said Tsubaki. “Ok; I’ll be nice and let your boyfriends go” she said. She pulled out a knife and cut Black*star down. She laid him down on the ground and sat on his chest, holding his shoulders down. She put a toffee in his mouth and waited. “What is that meant to do?” asked Maka. Karin didn’t answer and waited. Black*star’s body started to move around violently and then stopped abruptly. Black*star’s eyes opened and he blushed when he saw Karin. “Can you get off me please?” asked Black*star. Karin smiled and stood up. Black*star ran to Tsubaki’s side. “What’s on your mouth?” asked Tsubaki. Black*star licked the corner of his mouth. “It’s blue syrup” he proclaimed. Karin nodded and then cut Kid down. She laid him down on the ground and sat on his chest and put a toffee in his mouth. She waited, and then Kid body moved around violently then stopped abruptly. His eyes flipped open and he pushed Karin off him. He licked the corner of his mouth. “Green syrup?” said Kid, Karin nodded. She cut Soul down and laid him on the ground. He moved from under her making her fall over. “Thanks” said Maka, looking away. “I have something to say…” Karin started. “Ok say what you want” said Soul. “The order in which you boys were able to be seduced, first is the boy with the blue syrup, second is the boy with the pink syrup and third was the boy with the green syrup” she proclaimed. Soul noticed then that he had pink syrup in the corner of his mouth. Black*star blushed and Kid sighed. “We better get back” said Kid. The others nodded and they brought Karin to the DWMA.
