HOOOOOOLY FU-----!!!!!!!

To: Team Canada Men's Hockey Team:

WHY DID YOU LET IT GET SO CLOSE?!?!

We go into the third period 3-0 against Slovakia. So far so good. About ten minutes in the Slovaks nail a goal. Dang. Alright, fair enough. . .

. . . a few minutes later, they score again. Alright, this is getting a little scary here . . . . .

. . . the final 2 minutes of regulation, the Slovaks have turned Roberto Luongo's net into a shooting gallery. Scariest damn 2 minutes of the whole night.

So Canada still won, and we shall have our rematch against the US on Sunday. This is good. But that said . . .

WHAT THE FUCK, CANADA?! STOP DOING THAT!!!!

In Other News:

Congratulations, Mimmi! Your girls have taken home the gold in Curling, leaving Canada with the silver.

The Swedes played a crazy close game against Canada (who choked when it was down to the line). I spent the last hour at work in kind of a funk after that as Curling is one of those games where a single stone's throw can make or break a game. In Canada's case tonight, it broke. Dang.

But we still have the men's. So Sweden, you may have this one. Our girls'll getcha back in 2014.

GG.

Over At Short Track:

Two golds in Short Track for the 500m and for the 5,000 relay! Holy crap, we might only be in third for overall medals right now this year, but we're actually first for gold medals right now!

I kinda believe that this has never happened before. This is kinda nifty. Even if we don't finish with the most golds in the end, gotta say, this has been a good year for the red and white in the great white north. Even if Vancouver barely counts.

Back To Business:

Schultzie, buddy, I'll be online on Sunday. I suppose I could go downtown be there for the shitstorm and all. But I've a better idea. Let's make a chatroom that night so we can all watch together? I'll set it up first if no one else does.

See you on Sunday, Amercs'. We's got some unfinished business, methinks.

Should be fun.
