Hey All, my real name is Dave, and I originally joined theO as a wallpaper maker, but now I've been more focused on fan art and improving my work. I've been a member for about 10 years now, including various name changes lol.

As for my anime tastes, I'm a huge fan of sci-fi, action/shounen, and mecha. My first ever complete manga series was Love Hina, which I still rank as my favorite, and its also what pushed me to draw more. Akamatsu-sensei's Negima is also highly ranked on my list and also acts as a source of inspiration (although I prefer his style from Volumes 13 & 14 of Love Hina a little more lol).

Currently, I'm reading Bleach and UQ Holder!. I haven't been following much anime that's been airing lately since most of it is seemingly loli fanservice-type shows. I try and follow any Gundam series that I can, and I was actually impressed with the Build Fighters series; it focuses more on camaraderies and rivalries that are surprisingly well written. It's pretty childish, but I get a kick out of all the easter eggs hidden within it. I also own a variety of Miyazaki's movies due to their charm and underlying messages about our world and the environment.

I also game a little bit when I'm not drawing or at work/school; I mainly play RPGs and fighters, but I have dabbled into 3rd person shooters (Vanquish, Crysis series), some action adventure games, and racing (Gran Turismo 5). I also enjoy RTSs, but I pretty much only play Starcraft II on and off.

As for school/employment, I am currently employed with the electronics retailer The Source up in Canada, and I'm attending college to become a Medical Lab Technician. I'll be done around October 2015, then I can work in any diagnostic lab/hospital to help diagnose diseases!

Cheers,

Inphinity

Finally Back!

Hey All,

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Finally, I've recovered from my wisdom teeth extraction, and my hours at work are going back to normal. Hopefully now I'll be able to maintain a weekly submission schedule from now on. I've also finally discovered what was causing my sleep issues! After seeing a nose/throat/ear specialist, and having a camera jammed into my sinuses, we've discovered I have Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome. What this means is my upper airway is really narrow, which causes me to randomly stop breathing at night. It is believed that this may be caused by an allergy of some sort, so I have to go get tested for that. In the mean time the specialist gave me some nasal spray which forces my airway open, fixing the problem for now.

Anywho, I'll stop boring you all with large paragraphs, and get to planning my next submission!

Wisdom Teeth

Hi All,

Unfortunately I'm getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow, so I will be going on hiatus for a few weeks to recover. Work also gets crazy busy at this time of year, so I won't have a whole lot of time to draw either after my recovery. I will hopefully be back to a more regular schedule after Christmas!

Happy Turkey (Thanksgiving) Weekend!

Hey All,

I have finally found work, which means I also have less time to draw :( So I may not be able to crank anything out this weekend since its Thanksgiving here in Canada-land, and I worked all weekend lol. I will attempt to honour my weekly submission schedule, but it may be on random days since I now do shift work. I will still keep up with the digital plan since I need alot of work in that department lol

Back After a Month XD

Hey All

Sorry for the lack of content for the past month; sleep has been getting worse, and I'm undergoing more tests to see what is going on. As for now, I'm going to try and get back to my weekly submission schedule, however now I'm going more for digital work. Since I do want to do more commissions, I figured that would be a good idea :P

I've also moved back in with my parents whilst I recover, and the funny thing is my Dad all of a sudden wanted to buy games for my PS3 that we could play co-op. So now I'm playing Army of One with him, and he's kinda terrible, throwing grenades at the wall and blowing himself up... So yeah, we've got some work to do!

Lack of Content Last Week

Hi All,

Sorry for the lack of content last week; I was at my parents' house for 1.5 weeks undergoing more medical tests for my insomnia. Turns out I have a constricted airway, which acts similarly to sleep apnea. Looks like it might be able to be fixed with orthodontics since it primarily caused by my lower jaw being to far back. Sadly, thanks to prolonged insomnia, I am now developing depression and anxiety disorders, so the last few weeks have been tough trying to cope with these new things. I decided I should start drawing more since it helps me forget about the aforementioned illnesses, and my therapist suggested something similar.
