Other details: she always is carrying a sketchbook and a pencil, when she is in deep thought she presses her pencil eraser on her face, leaving shavings behind. She is also ambidextrous, but tends to use her left hand for writing/drawing and right hand for everything else. She also tends to have small ink stains on her fingers due to inking pages of her manga.
Appearance: Kataribe-san appears super shy around other people. She freaks out easily and is very skittish. When she is drawing she seems to be very excited and outgoing as she asks a lot of questions. She comes off as odd because she is always observing people and asking them to act things out for her so she can draw certain scenes.

Personality: Kataribe is a very quiet person who scares easily. (which is why she has never written a horror manga) She often time goes off into her own world where all of her storybook characters are. When alone she can sometimes be seen talking to herself as if talking to her fictional characters. She can appear very withdrawn and inattentive, but is extremely observant and will often use the details she sees to write stories for a manga.
She has been known in the past to set up scenarios to occur in order to observe people's reactions. She once set up a break-up between two people in order to write a scene in one of her mangas.
Likes: writing, reading, people watching, kit-kats, talking to Sho (character from her first series: Shotaro no Chou, a mystery series)

Life before school: Kataribe has always been a bit of a loner. She is the only child to a single parent, her father. Because her father was always working Kataribe had no one to watch her, so she often stayed after school in the library helping the librarian out, in exchange she was allowed to borrow more books than the other students. By the time she was in 5th grade she had finished every book in the school library, so the librarian teasingly suggested that Kataribe write her own books. By the age of 11 Kataribe had published her first book in the Sho no Chou mystery series that became a huge success. When she turned 15 she had 8 books in the Sho series and 3 other novels. This caught the attention of Prospect's Summit.
