Toradora! DVD set!

I pre-ordered the first Toradora! box set a few months back, and it arrived at my door yesterday afternoon while I was at work! It looks really good; NIS America put a good amount of work into this, and the results are pretty damn cool. Glad I put down the money for the set.

I took some photos so that you lovely people could have a look at the boxset. The photos are a bit big, especially the last two, so just be forewarned if you have a slow connection.

This is the actual box the DVDs and the artbook/episode guide come in. It's a big box, looks nice (the back is the same picture as the front, except in monochrome) and is quite sturdy. Pretty slick, I think.

Here are the DVD cases. Not much to say here, but they're cute images. And thankfully it's easy to remove the DVDs and put them back in to their cases without scratching them up. I hate when DVDs are nearly impossible to remove without damaging the discs in some way. :|

This is the cover to the artbook/episode guide. Looks really nice.

This is a sample of one of the pages. Sorry about it being out of focus lol. As you can see, it's a bit busy but not distractingly so. Looks good and fits the style of the series.

And to placate Des, this page has an interview with Yui Horie. :p Again, apologies for the lack of focus. Hopefully it's, uh, not that difficult to read. <_<;

So there you have it! Very cool set, I think; probably the best premium set I've bought for an anime. (The Haruhi set has a better box, but the extras aren't as cool.) If you're a fan of Toradora! I think it's worth it to plunk down the money for this. Haven't watched any episodes yet, but I hear the translation is solid and doesn't have any issues that have been associated with NIS America in the past with their game translations.
