At least the basketball in Teen Wolf isn't as bad as Air Bud, right? I mean, that's a frickin' dog! "Well, the rulebook doesn't say anything about not letting a dog play", my ass.
I was mostly satisfied with the final game, even though they looked like dorks. If the Wolf had been doing stuff like a regular dude instead of me when I was in elementary school, then I wouldn't have been bothered by it.
Not to forgive Teen Wolf but I think of all sports, basketball has to be the hardest to choreograph realistically for movies. Offense and defense have to both work like clockwork, also being aware of cameras and how things are supposed to turn out all the while trying to make it appear like it's plays being run, not hitting your mark...
There are movies that do it well like Hoosiers and Coach Carter. Teen Wolf is not one though.
Also I was about to say what about Ben Affleck's cameo as a basketball player, but I then remembered it was the Buffy the vampire Slayer movie he was in.
