For His Friends

Rai took an uppercut that sent him flying into the air. He crashed into the ceiling, but began to fall back to the ground the man then caught Rai with a chokehold, and then threw him into a pillar. Rai hopped back up on his feet, bruised and bloodied.
“Wow, that’s gonna leave a mark!” He smirked, wiping blood from his mouth.
“You seem to be enjoying yourself… lets take it up a notch, vessel.” Yakunan said, cracking his knuckles.
“Hey you called me a vessel, so do you mind explaining that?” Rai asked lowering his guard slightly.
“Well, it won’t hurt if you know your fate… Fine, I’ll tell you. Vessels are a hollow shell of a person that comes here when they die.”
“But if they’re destroyed, then what?”
“Well, it’s hard to put the pieces back together but we can handle it. Once they’re put back together, we can fill them with artificial life, one that doesn’t question their master. We have several, but they aren’t reliable: they perish in a week. When one of our artifacts went missing, we hunted it down and found you.”
“So, what your saying is that you what to kill and make an artificial me to rule the world?”
“More like destroy it really, but who cares?” Yakunan sighed.
Rai rushed forward, but was stopped by a spinning back kick. Rai regained his balance and then sliced Yakunan’s torso, but he remained unaffected. Yakunan went for an uppercut but Rai jumped back and then aimed for his neck. He connected, but Yakunan still would’t die. He then head butted Rai, who staggered back alittle, but was sent flying backwards into a suit of armor. A few shards of metal stuck in his back, hip, and shoulder.
THIS IS BAD! Rai thought, One more hit and I’m dead… well… If I’m gonna die here, I’m gonna go out with a BANG!!! A cold mist formed around Akumamitsukai.
Rai charged forwards, moving fast enough to have the gauntlet graze his face. He sliced Yakunans side and began to turn around for a rebound.
“Do you think that’s gonna-“ Yakunan started to say, but was then encased in a coffin of ice. Rai charged again and started to attack viciously, blood seeping through the holes and cracks he made as he sliced and stabbed. He then jumped back and used flash step to slice the coffin in half.
“Tsumetaiabunai!” Rai yelled as the ice shattered into a million pieces. “Savor eternal slumber…” He said before he fell to his knees, Yakunan fell to his back. Rai crawled over to the wall and leaned against it, holding his shoulder. Just as he was about to pull out the metal; Yakunan jumped to his, feet fading into darkness.
“Not bad kid, but it’ll take more than that to kill me.” He said as he vanished. Rai sighed as he started removing the metal shards. He ripped some cloth from a nearby tapestry and started applying first aid.
“He’s still around here…” Rai said as he wrapped cloth around his shoulder. “I have to finish him off before things get out of hand… I know my friends are coming, but I have to end it myself. It’s my fault they came here.” He got up and started to walk out of the throne room and headed for the stairs.
If its one thing stereo typical about the bad guys, they always go to the roof if something goes wrong.“Yumei, make sure you bring the weak one to me, in one piece. I have a plan…”
