I was at lunch today with three others. We were being really quiet and not talking much when an elderly gentleman and woman sat next to us. They proceeded to start a conversation with us and I had to excuse myself from the table to go get something to drink. I came back and continued with the conversation, although I noticed that one of my friends had frozen a little bit and wasn't talking very much anymore. I found this a little odd, but continued on. The man and woman eventually left saying they had a meeting to get to. We said our farewells and watched them leave. I turned back to the table and asked if anyone knew who they were. The friend who stopped talking turned to me and said "That was the president of the University."

I kid you not...the president of my university sat with us at a dining center just to talk to a random bunch of students. It was awesome. He has a lot of respect from me now. I had met him last year as well inside of his home because they have an event every year for people to come and see their home and have some tasty treats for free. I have liked the new things he brought to the college and I have always thought he was doing good things for the growth of the University. It just made me see him as a much more down to Earth guy.

So ya...other than that I am just buried in projects and homework. Plus I had an exam this monday and I'm going home this weekend. Its going to be really nice...I'm kinda looking forward to it...but I really need to do laundry soon...I'm out of clean socks and pants that aren't dress pants. Plus I'm almost out of shirts as well...
