Yeah, I reread the end recently. Finally figured it out. I just thought it was weird that he would be able to use it twice in a row at half chakra, since Kakashi's never been known for his stamina. He's bedridden what, every other week?

I think you should read the chapter again. It was explained by Lazer Brain Pein when Kakashi used his... lol, Mango Shenanigans xD I think it's on the last page. There's a brief flashback with Sith Pein throwing the nail and then he said something like "So he used his powers for that, too". Yep, Kakashi warped the nail out =)

Yeah, Danzo is hateable now, but still doesn't surpass Sasuke. I doubt Kakashi would die saving Chouji from a missile... I'm guessing that some miracle would happen after the flashback and he lives... somehow @_@ But then again, Itachi also died because he ran outta gas.

Talking about missiles and lasers, I remember Kishimoto-sensei is actually against the idea of ninjas using guns, but funnily he seems to have no qualms having them use heavy artillery?
