Hello everybody!

Hi! Welcome to my first post! Hope you'll enjoy it. I guess I should introduce myself a little first. I'm a college student taking a break. I love almost everything about Japan! Anime, manga, food, J- horror, music, humor, folktales, history, fashion, and so much more! I made a website called Sugoi Japan! I haven't updated it for a while though. I'm teaching myself Japanese at the moment, so I can become certified in it through the JLPT. (Japanese Language Proficiency Test.) I'm hoping to eventually live there and become a translator, tutor, or teacher.

I know about 8 languages. Hebrew, French, Yiddish, German, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, and Greek. I know some more than others though. Languages seem to be just giant puzzles to me. They're just so fun! ^_^"

I've been playing the clarinet for about 14 years. I've marched for 6 years. I had to stop marching because of an injury that never healed right. I was in my high school's pit orchestra for West Side Story. It was so fun! I was one of the few clarinetists who actually wanted to be in it. I was forced into pep band also in high school, since there wasn't a separate band for it. That's the reason why I couldn't play on the basketball team, even though I wanted to so badly! The marching band in college told me I was so good I should be section leader. I told them that wasn't for me because I don't like yelling at people.

I used to be into drawing and then junior high hit, and suddenly I wasn't interested in it anymore. Ever since getting into anime and manga (which was only a few years ago) I've rekindled that love of drawing. I'm even thinking of making my own manga once I become good enough. It's kind of exciting to me!

I love to cook, play basketball, watch anime, read manga, learn Japanese, play games, play my clarinet, listen to music, talk to penpals, do things with my family, hang out with friends, learn about other people, watch TV, to walk, be a part of Hadassah, my cat, and more.

Well, hope people like this. I'll try to update on a daily basis. Bye!
