Long Over Due

Continued from: A Coffin?

Unohana looked at the four members from squad 12 and nodded. “Thank you so much for letting me take a look inside.” She turned and walked away.

The four nodded looking at her then one another and started back on their way to drop off the coffin. After a short walk Unohana stopped walking and looked at her riddle again.

“Tall she is, and round as a cup. Yet all the king's horses can't draw her up.”

With a soft sigh she folded the piece of paper placing it in her kimono, “a well most definitely, but I am not sure where to find this well.” She spoke aloud as she walked toward the courtyard.

“Did I hear you say you were looking for a well, Captain Unohana?” a member from squad 3 asked her.

“Why yes I am,” Unohana replied with a soft smile as she looked their way.

The member drew his hand to the back of his head with an odd smile, “Well… A question first. Do you want this well to have water?”

Unohana drew her hand to her chin holding it between her index finger and thumb, “Hm,” she looked to the ground, “I am not sure if it matters in this case.” She looked to the 3 division member again with a smile, tilting her head her eyes closed.

“Well then…” he answered returning her smile, “There is a decorative well in the main courtyard of the Seireitei.”

“There is?” Unohana questioned.

“Yes ma’am. It was put in about a month ago.” He told her.

“Thank you so much for your help.” Unohana said and turned walking the direction of the main courtyard of the Seireitei.

It was not long and Unohana arrived at the well. She carefully lends over the well and looked down into it. There in the darkness she caught a slight glimmer.

“Minazuki,” she called to her sword.

Sure enough Minazuki transformed and came from the well. Unohana was so pleased to see Minazuki. She took a few minutes in rejoicing in their reunion.
