I want in on the bandwagon.

Since I work in the education system, so I get to make a "Beginning of the Year" post, too?

Im going to anyway, take that!

So this week was supposed to be the start of the 2011-2012 school year, but with what has been going on with my Dad, I decided to take most of the week off to focus on that. And my CDL refresher class, and annual physical prevented me from working until yesterday, so it was all an elaborate scheme you see, to try and extend my summer for but four more days. . . *brick'd* (Must have fallen from Kat's page)

So yesterday, Friday was my official first day of the new campaign and it was a long one. I got my mid-day routes, so I am driving all day now, instead of morning and afternoon only. And of top of that, my first day also included a charter in the evening/night. So I literally in the bus for most of the day. I had to go to the north side of Chicago to pick up the charter, then take them to about 45 minutes away from the bus company. Only then to be able to go home at 10:30. That paycheck would look so damn good if I had worked all week. But Ill take the 6 hours of charter time yesterday. And tomorrow will be the first time I ever have driven on a Sunday for work, as I go and take those kids back to Chicago from their two day retreat.

This is all a pretense for me saving the money to move. I have a number for a bus company in Tennessee I called, and the guy and I have been playing phone tag since yesterday. Ill call him back on Monday if he doesnt get a hold of me sooner. If I can somehow get a job ready for me before I get down there, it gives me all the more incentive to leave sooner rather than later.

Ill keep in touch guys, you do the same, kay?
