Part one

After I closed my room door he sighed and said
“My parents are getting a divorce.”
I felt my jaw drop. He continued.
“They want to take a child each. My dad wants me to go with my mother.
We don‘t get along very well so I was going to stay with her, but she’s
going to move to New York.” He looked up at me.
“That’s kind of strange I was the one who got forced into a promise to
never get moved bake to New York and you’re the one who end’s up
moving there.” I said looking down. I made it sound as if I was joking.
He stared at me cold. “Do you think that maters now!” he said Angrily
and stared me down. “Uh….” I didn’t know what to say.
“Uh! Is that all you can say!” He yelled as he stood up and took hold
of my shoulders. He gave me a couple of shake‘s before he pushed me down
and walked to my door. “Ouch!” I yelped. I fell on my wood stool
and it broke from the force of me falling on it.
I looked at my palm and I seen that it was bleeding. I must have cut it when I fell.
He didn’t turn around when I got up he just stood in front of my door.
He sighed and turned around to see me wrapping my cut with a peas of cloth.
When he seen the blood start to seep through the wight cloth he ran out of my room.
Ten minutes later , after I changed my costume, I got a Text from him.
I’m sorry but we
aren’t going to
work out. Were
over.
Demetri

I felt my hot tears stream down my cheek’s.
How could he do this to me! And by a Text no less!
I felt sorrow gulp me up and I fought to get my blade from my dresser.
“What dose it matter any more. I promised him that I wouldn’t do it any more.
Now that he’s gone I don’t need to keep any promise to him any more.”
I said to my self and took my blade from my bottom jour.
I dug the blade deep into my skin where one of my scars still remained.
I moved it bake and forth till my hurt was gone. I sighed with relief.
I got up and walked to my bathroom with the blood from my new wound
dripping down my hand. I turned my facet on and rinsed all the blood from my hand.
I dried my cut and put a band aid on it. I was only going to keep it on till it stopped bleeding.
I grabbed my cell phone and called Rodolfo.
“Hello?”
“Hey um Rodolfo I’m not going to be t school on Monday.”
“Oh ok well why aren’t you going to be there.?”
“I’m getting sick.”
“Oh, well get well soon.”
“Thanks bye.”
“Bye.” click
I sighed and lied down. I looked up at my ceiling.
My eye lid’s got heavy and I gladly gave in to my sleepiness and fell asleep.
Unlike normal night’s I had a dream. Well actually it was a nightmare.
I seen Demetri actually say he didn’t want to be with me and when I cried
he busted out laughing evilly. It repeated all night till it finally woke me up.
It was like he stomped on my heart repeatedly. I looked out of my window
and by the light it was almost 3:00 PM. I balled up on my side. My cut was
throbbing. I stayed silent and noticed it beating in the same rhythm as my
heart beat. I heard my door creak open. I sat up and seen it was Matt and Ty.
“We seen Demetri run out last night. What happened?” Matt asked.
“His parent’s are getting divorced.” I smiled sadly “Ten minutes later he texted me.”
I grabbed my phone and opened the text again. I handed them the phone
before it was done downloading. I heard them both gasp.
‘That is low.” Ty said.
“He didn’t even have the decency to say it in person.” Matt said angrily.
I looked up to see Jessie’s expression to the text.
After matt went home I heard my mom, Ty, and Jessy start talking,
“Well I guess this would be the best time to tell her than any other.”
My mom said. “Yah and we need to tell her our secret too.” Ty said
I got out of bed opened my door and said. “What secret?”
They looked at each other “You should sit down Grizzly.” ty said.
I sat down and waited for them to explain. My mom sighed and said.
“You have been accepted into a special school in Bakersfield. But not
only you your friend Sam too.” “So is Rodolfo.” ty added.
“oh well when do I leave?” I asked. “Whenever your ready.” Jessy said.
“Ok, well I’ll go when Sam and Rodolfo go.” I answered them.
“There’s one more thing Griselda.” My mom said.
What more could they possibly say.
