“Shiri help!” Kuro's eyes reflected a sudden amount of fear as the creature had seized hold of her. The red haired girl froze for half a second finding herself suddenly unable to move. "Shiri!" Kuro shouted back all but snapping her out of it.
Running back sharply, Shiri seized Kuro by the hand and started to pull to keep the creature from dragging off the friend she had just made. I'm scared... really scared.... but.... but I can't let one of these things take.... take... I just can't! Digging her heels into the ground, the red haired girl found that she was more or less being dragged with the dark haired girl. There wasn't enough mass between the two of them to force the creature to stop. "Don't let go!" Kuro shouted, and Shiri said nothing but looked wide eyed and nodded keeping hold of Kuro's wrist even as the thing started dragging them both. If I let go..... I could run for it... I could get away from this... I'm scared... I'm scared... I don't want this..... "Shiri! Don't let go!" Kuro ordered, and suddenly Shiri's grip all but doubled.
"I won't!" Shiri shouted back feeling her face scrunch up. They had just about been dragged a few yards when suddenly the cat from before seemed to lunge straight at the creature and slash at its arm. The creature let go, and suddenly the pulling stopped. Shiri, who had been so focused on holding her ground now found Kuro flying at her due to the sudden drop of force. Suddenly falling straight backwards, Shiri resisted the urge to burst into tears again. I'm still scared.....I... I want to run.... I want to....
"One of you! Touch my head!" the cat ordered sharply looking between the two girls as if deciding he didn't care which one it was as long as it was one of them.
"Ow...." Kuro said aloud rubbing her leg.
"You then!" the cat ordered looking at Shiri. "Now before that creature attacks again!"
"I'm scared!" Shiri shouted at the cat as she forced herself to stand upright. If she had had a book in hand, she would have smacked him over the head with it and run for it. However, she lacked said book and was now unsure of what to do.
"I don't care!" the cat yelled back before turning. "Here it comes again!" Shiri's eyes grew as the monster seemed to regenerate and come lashing straight at all three of them again. Her heart was pounding in her head. "NOW!" the cat yelled. Suddenly Shiri found her hand on the cat's head, and her heat beat was all but missing.
"Ah Saturn...." the cat sighed. "No wonder you're the way you are right now. Things are about to change. Take this pen." Suddenly Shiri found a pen in her hand, and she turned straight towards the creature.
"Now say-" the cat started.
"Don't mess with me," Shiri found her voice caustic as she addressed the monster. Wh-what's going on? her mind was in question of her own words. Wh-why am... why can't I just.... "Saturn Power, Make Up," she found her voice still speaking yet she didn't even understand the words! However, in another second, she felt something running through her. I'm not scared... why am I not scared.... I.... I don't even know....I should have run away from it all.... why didn't I just.... Because I couldn't have. Almost in that instant, Shiri stared and found herself standing tall in front of the creature. Said creature recoiled a fraction before moving forwards again and grinning. Shiri's face was completely blank.
"Shiri?" Kuro's voice said aloud, yet Shiri didn't look down.
I'm not scared..... Shiri found herself thinking aloud. I can do this.....
"Well that certainly called ya down...." the cat sighed to himself. "And it appears the Silence Glaive has returned into this world as well..." Shiri said nothing but suddenly stepped forwards and held the almost scythe like pole in her hand. "Heh... well the words to that one are 'Death Reborn Revolution' be careful with it though." the cat finished as he saw the intention.
"Death Reborn Revolution!" Shiri shouted suddenly raising up the Silence Galaive and feeling the unmistakable power run through her for half a second. The creature was slashed with said attack and suddenly seemed to dissolve into nothingness. Shiri stood for about half a second before suddenly releasing the Glaive and falling backwards. Why.... can't I move.....
