Kokona joins the Sirius thratre troupe with her best friend Shizuka in order to become a World Dai Star, unique women with powers that can enhance their performances on stage, it's high drama and high emotions as each performance displays a breathtaking experience.
Not a new idea as Kaleido Star did it first but what this series does do that PuraOre didn't was actually spend a decent budget, each stage performance and insert song ups the animation quality making each performance pop on screen, it's arguably better at this than something like Aikatsu or the Pretty Series.
Another intriguing element is Kokona's power, it's outright implied that Shizuka was created using her power, they call it sense, meaning her power creates an acting coach, it's a surprising twist that's quite well executed.
No dub to speak, wouldn't work for a song heavy anime.
Final Verdict: A good all rounder with show stopping musical numbers and better understanding of how to use idol elements without making it an outright idol anime.
