Uzaki Chan Wants To Hang Out Season 2 Review

Never have I been so disappointed in a season 2.

Continuing on from the previous season, Uzaki and Shinichi continue their time in college but their feelings for one another are starting to get stronger with Uzaki suddenly realizing that Shinichi will graduate and leave her, suddenly making the bombastic back and forth of teasing becoming a little awkward with all the onlookers getting frustrated by the lack of progress which counts for us the viewers as well, even family members of Uzaki are getting frustrated.
It's turned the series from a piece of fun to a boring slog desperate for a pay off, Shinichi's introverted tendencies allows him to pursue new hobbies and evolve as a character but doesn't know how to handle the situation being frustrated by how his own family acts while Uzaki is suddenly vulnerable and equally in denial about the growing feelings developing making her usual schtick come off as more annoying than usual and it's affecting the viewer experience, again this makes the dub hard to watch knowing who voices Uzaki.
This is why the two season format fails, the best parts were all in part 1 and the gap between seasons kills the momentum so when season 2 does start it botches the start and fails to catch up, it only works for long runners like One Piece and Naruto.
Final Verdict: I'm bored and I'm losing interest which is a shame.
