the rain is making me feel so sleepy...
it's raining and i like it.. coz it's breezy... i hate sunny sweats and uv rays and whatnot... psh...
lunch break earlier i just had to sketch something.. XD
the drawing on the left *my crosSis pic* is supposed to be mailed to jae aka somegirl with the printed colored version for our collab but i just cant get to the other side of the school for the free print *coz it's gonna be 20+ mins walk and i only have 30mins break for lunch and whatnot..* but i promise it'll be done next week coz i'll have about 3hrs of spare everyday so i can even walk slowly to get it printed and mailed.. =P
anyway... a random sketch turned out to be something i might continue soon.. and it's always someone from sailor moon whenever i doodle at school.. pretty much all my sailor moon stuff were drawn at school too.. XD
a problem with photoshop while doing something.. *last week*
photoshop users here.. is this normal..? like ur trying to use a certain tool but it's showing the hand tool and u cant do anything.. i tried to restart my laptop, it's still the same.. i dunno what ever happened and why photoshop turned out like that but it's really ugh... some say it's just because photoshop has been idle for a long time..? =.= well it's working now because i havent opened photoshop for like daysss.... >x<"
and another ps problem im having trouble with.. ugh......
a layer multiplied with lower opacity sometimes show those vertical lines.... >x<" i needed a larger resolution for this coz i got a couple of print request from da but this problem showed after resizing it and adjusting the layer opacity.. ugh.. i shouldnt have touched the psd file and just resized...
this wasnt the first time but it's kinda annoying.. any help in here..? how do i take out all these lines whenever i multiply with low opacity..?

but instead of sakura, it's looking more like sephiroth..?! lol..
and just as when i thought im about to draw kakashi, the face kinda drifted away so i stopped.. im not sure about kakashi's hair though so i just imagined how it'll look like if some guy has the same hairstyle.. to be continued.. XD

do u guys have color suggestions..? im not really sure what colors to put.. rune's color is permanent *the girl in the middle..* thats how the owner wants her to look like but the others.. i dont know.. thats also probably the hardest part of this commission coz she left the character design to me..
any suggestions..?

i was working on some colored pencil work for my collab with somegirl but i got lazy so i stopped halfway.. feel sleepy already too.. XD
ehh... im not sure if this is really what im gonna give her for the collab.. i still have some unsketched ideas.. XD
In Progress...
the last time i colored traditionally was about 2 months ago..? i just decided to work on my prisma again before i fail from traditional coloring... XD so im in progress of working back on colored pencils.. i kinda miss the hard way too.. lol.. XD
it's the recent prisma work.. 8 colors used + effort.. XD black for outline, shadow and bg; peach for skin; goldenrod, orange, sienna brown and dark brown for hair and eyes; and tuscan red and crimson red for the outfit.. i really thought the paper will be damaged coz i was pressing it hard to get those solid colors.. except i ran out of energy at the bottom so the outfit was left with that texture.. =/ i should've just used pastels but i dont have any and they're known for their messy works.. *especially for me...the clumsy type* XD
ah well.. i have no other works in progress to show off.. lol.. i've been working on some private commissions so im just gonna post something else that's in progress too....

heheh.... i love croquettes and tempura.. it's my usual menu.. chicken teriyaki is the only sushi i eat.. but i tried other chicken flavored sushi too.. they're not bad.. pretty much tastes the same.. chicken.. lol.. well as long as it's not raw, i can take it.. i remember my first time eating sushi.. ugh.. i wanted to puke it out but i cant coz it was on my friend's birthday and she fed it up to me.. i swear i was in tears.. XD
anyway, that's all for now.. im currently hooked at playing mahjong online.. =P it's hard.. i barely know the rules and what those terms stand for.. i just got hooked after watching the new anime series, saki.. i just need to know whats going on coz it's the genre im looking for in which the main character has a low profile.. a hidden genius.. very rare genres that fits my liking.. a great example of this would be rurouni kenshin.. (kenshin was a legendary swordsman but during the modern era, he only uses his swordsmanship skills when necessary..) lol.. great timing.. the picture above reminds me so much of kenshin.. ^ this is supposed to be an entry for some contest that ended on may 1.. i couldnt finish it on time because i had so many stuff in my hands and so i put it aside and totally forgot about it til now... well i'll try to work it out soon since it's already vacation.. for just a week... and then back for summer term.. >x<"
^ this one was the previous cat ear dude from the previous post (see below) which i altered coz i wanted him to be some kind of fanart of somebody but he ended up not looking like anyone... XD i like his hairstyle so i think im gonna use him for something something.. =P
u see how lazy i am.. it's almost finished.. omg... but i have some other things to do.. more important than random sketches...
and here's that most important thing at the moment....
it's actually the 2nd commission but the 1st one couldnt send her payment so it's on hold.. and now this one is really draining me out coz there's so many people.. 9 people and there's suppose to be 10 (my oc with me) but i couldnt fit it in.. and she requested for a background.. the background isnt on the list for my commissions but the commissioner is my long-time friend in DA so i agreed.. XD it's gonna be the book cover for her senior project and she wanted it like this.. i still need to make some changes and waiting for her reply about that.. unfortunately, she's going to alaska for 2 weeks and it's gonna be hard to communicate.. im planning to finish it this week so i wont have to worry about this during class... XD hopefully we can communicate through email coz im shy to phone her... lol... XD
ah yes... i have a 1 week vacation.. i'll try to finish up some of the sketches here and some other commissions.. next week isnt really gonna be a vacation for me but at least i had some rest with the drawings for a little while.. "little".. XD
now back to work..

anyway, this week is really tight but i wont give in.. aja aja.. fighting..!

deadline: may 2 saturday.. it's almost done but i gotta make sure i finish this on saturday coz it's the last class and the next meeting will be on sept again.. XD my teacher asked me if i want to put this in the art show.. im like.. wow really... but thats only if i can finish this on time.. i must.. or else i wont make it there.. not to mention my portfolio exam is next week too and im planning to put this to show off my skills in different mediums.. XD
there's like 3 contests that im gonna participate that is due on wednesday and thursday but i still procrastinate and sketched something not related to any of those contests.. *hit me!* XD
procrastinate = draw something else.. XD it's a way to relieve tension too.. lol..
sooo random.. dont even know who's this gonna be yet.. ugh.. whatever... cat ears for fun.. XD
