working on 3 games = busy
1 - a megaman style game for our senpai... im working on sprites now and unfortunately for me, i got extra work to hand in coz im doing 2 boss monsters, 2 mobs and 1 city monster which was done.. the boss monsters look kinda easier than the city monster pig head from below this post.. the art director for this game gave me his files and told me to work on them.... eeeeh...! he`s tempting me to cheat.. seriously... tsk... but he`s encouraging me to base off my concepts with his monsters so that they`re uniform.. oh right.. i have to do the concepts for these boss monsters and mobs too.. <_< the first task *the pig head* was definitely the hardest... psssh.....
2 - our game.. im so excited about this one.. i`ll upload our main character soon... *^^* i`ll be doing the main characters and backgrounds.. luckily we got more artists so they get to do the others.... but im really rooting for this artist and glad she`s with us.. hahah... <3

bad news though.. one of our programmers ditched our team and decided to go by himself... tsk tsk.. he was the one who invited me to join this current team.. XD now he`s inviting me to help him on his "solo" game project... lol...
3 - his solo game project.. his game pitch is more simple than ours.. ours is a pc game action-rpg very similar to zelda, final fantasy, etc... his game doesnt need characters but he still wants me................ to do the backgrounds...... XD very random too... so i was like ok sure... and just to be safe, i`ll use that background when i submit our main guy character... very soon... i had the guy sketched a long time ago.. i didnt think they`d want it as our game`s main character.. XD
so yeh....... tough life... but it`s fun... but yeh... the work load is so so stressful....... i cant even think of buying gummy bears anymore.... aaah... my beloved gummy bears... i`ll draw u someday in remembrance of our sweet days... lol..........

the only thing thats troubling me is that i have more work than others... TT^TT we're suppose to work on 1 concept in 2 weeks.. others have only 3-4 concepts to work on for the whole term.. *2months* i have 5....... >A<" but basing on this first one.. i guess they assumed that i can work on 1 concept in a week.. i actually did this for 2 nights....! sure i can do the job.. if it's for the credits and all, i'll do it... but i wish someone will do the lineart for me.. doing it digitally is seriously a killer.. and they told me to change the concept too.. gaaah.. this thing got tails and feet that doesnt seem right.. i silently agreed... and so they told me to change it to however i want it..... ugh... i thought im getting away with concepts.. i hate thinking too... <_<
oh well.. dues are on wednesdays and all this cramming is making me sleepless... @_@ it's past wednesday thus this is late... but considering i was away for a week and a half, i hope they'll forgive my tardiness... XD

'our' term's game project will be up for presentation.. im the director for that project, thus i have to draw the presentation... story boards....... but the story isnt finalized yet.. im not the writer btw.. i just hope they'll give it to me soon so i can have at least a month to work on about 50 pages as our manager asks... *shoot me* XD but im not planning to give them 50 manga pages... maybe 50 pictures to tell the story.. like a children's book perhaps.. *nods* thats easier.... but... the details will probably kill me coz it's set on medieval times......... omg... i'll do my best... =P

on to my other life.. class started today.. but im still on vacation.. wahahah... but im dead when i get back... gaaaah... *flying back to toronto next week* v_v" i have an extra week to do some extra work.. though i wanted to finish some of the wips i had from last year, i left them in my apartment.. ugh.. the very first drawing i made for this year is this twisted elegant neko but it doesnt feel like a drawing.. more like a digital painting.. im trying to get used to cg coz thats most likely my part for the game project.. i mentioned before about the concept art for the seniors' game.. they want monsters for concepts so i'll pass on that and i'll work on the coloring instead... >x<;
