A well-known flash was seen from the window in the twilight sky. Kotona rushed to open the window, leaning to look outside. The flashes were seen again and again in the sky, moving here and there. Kotona was looking at them for a while.
She saw an angel.
There was no doubt that it's an angel. He was flying quickly in the sky with a pair of great, white wings. His body looked as if was engraved in marble, and his long hair was silky and white. His clothes were brilliant silver, and in one hand he held a huge silver sword, ornamented with wings. He went on flying in the sky, and at the both sides of him were flying, like comets, two small, rounded objects, one leaving after it a orange trail and the other a purple one.
The angel stopped for a moment in order to gaze at a certain spot at his right. Kotona was still looking at him, amazed. Her mouth was open as if about to shout something, but no voice was coming out. Her mind was blank.
And then came a thing that made Kotona almost to pass out. A huge monster, as black as charcoal, was flying fast to the angel's direction, but he dodged him in a gentle, quick move. It was an enormous bat, his fur full of purple spots and his claws are red. His scarlet eyes were shining in a murderous gaze.
"Ribbon – Ciel Justice!” shouted the angel and hit the monster with his blade. A white light burst from the sword and hit the aching bat.
Kotona wasn't thinking about anything, her mind's empty from thoughts. She stood and gazed on the battle that was progressed there, far from her home.
And then she did what she wanted to do.
She opened her room's door recklessly and ran to the main door. Her mother called her, frightened , but Kotona didn't stop even when she bumped into her father that was on his way back home. She continued to run to the place where she saw the battle, still in her pajamas and the shoes that she have put on in sloppiness on her hasty way out.
She didn't feel the pain in her legs while running with all her strength, and she was already there, breathing heavily. Only then her mind came back to her, when the angel was closer and more dazzling then ever, and the bat as scary as her worst nightmares. As if a mysterious power was attracting her there,
The bat came closer to the angel in order to attack him, but he blocked his claws with his great sword. He was standing in the air and resisting the monster, until one of the comets attracted his attention. It was the orange one.
The angel looked with his sapphire eyes right into Kotona's eyes.
He smiled a big, boyish smile. Kotona blushed and could feel her racing heart.
"I knew you would come!” He said in true happiness. Kotona remained confused. “Tayou!” he turned to the orange ball that was flying rapidly to Kotona's direction and circled her in bird's whistles.
When it stopped in front of her she could see that it's furry and soft-looking, like a orange-ish ball with a small beak, pair of tiny, seperated eyes, sweet, pink wings and a long tail behind it.
It chirped and opened his beak, taking out what looked like a golden ornament with a strange mark on it. Kotona caught it with both of her hands.
A strange light came out of the pendant, and Kotona just looked at it in amazment. The angel shoved the monster away and gazed at Kotona, excited.
"M-mew mew Kotokandi... Metamorphosis...?” She whispered, as if was forced to say that, and at that moment the light became greater and blinding. In a cloud of pink sparkles kotona felt a unusual sensation.
