Okay so for that narrating example I'll post the intro to my story... which I should really come up with a name for now that I think about it... Oh well here goes.
[NOTE: Kyo is represented by *...* and Jun is "..." And because I'm using these '*' for Kyo whenever there is an action occuring it will be placed between teo parenthesis. Like THIS: //..// There will also be an outside opinion. It's not another narrator but he (or she, who knows) keeps the story in line. Think of the being as Jun and Kyo's employer. Typically however, Jun is the one who is narrating. Oh and to make it more interesting I've placed a couple references to other movies and shows. So let's go! You gotta catch 'em all! ~wink~]
(Chapter 1: The beginning)
The air is still, it is a peaceful atmosphere. The sun shines bright and awaits the day. It's morning. It is time for a story.. for a new beginning.
*Five hundred years ago in a land far far away, there-*
"Oh SHUT UP!"
Well it was a nice idea to begin with.
*Jun! I was telling the story!*
"You were NOT!"
*...You're mean.*
"Look if you're going to narrate at least get the facts straight! This story does not begin 'Five hundred years ago!' I mean seriously, this is not a fuedal time period, demon-kidnapped damsel in distress type of thing!"
*But it sounds cooler like that! 'Cuz you know far away places HAVE to be cool. I've only ever been to your house and everyone knows that's not cool at all.*
//glare// "Excuse me?"
*I.. was starting over!*
"That's what I thought."
*Okay here we go...
Once upon a time in a magical world called Fairyto-*
"KYOOOO!!!!!!!!!"
*What's wrong NOW?*
"There are no fairies in this story!"
*But what about the Red Fairy Queen?//puzzled//*
"She's not a fairy."
*Then why-*
"Well get to that later but for now NO FAIRIES."
*...werewolves?*
"no."
*hmm... I know! Blood thirsty vampires! That SPARKLE!!!*
"I'd rather eat my own foot."
*So no?*
"NO."
*How 'bout ghost hunters?*
"NO! ..Wait what?"
*You know weird people that catch paranormal stuff when there's something strange in the neighborhood.*
"What is wrong with you?"
*Nuthin' I'm a fun person who likes adventurous stories like pirates that are after treasure with weird mystical fruit and.. Jun why are you banging your head against the wall?*
//bang//"Why"//bang//"me"//bang//"?!?!"
*You know not everything's about you. I can be pretty important too!*
The banging has stopped...
*Jun?*
"..."
*Are you okay Jun?*
"...I.."
*Yessss????*
"...I'm.."
*Come ON! We don't have all day you know!*
//Growls//
*Jun what's wrong? OH NO! Are you turning into a werewolf?!
HELP! HEEEEEELP! My friend is turning into a werewolf!
Don't worry Jun I know CPR.*
"Kyooo..."
*Yes?*
"Shut.Up."
*...That was lame.*
//Jun's eye twitches//
*I mean I thought you were gonna be like
'BOO! I'm going to get you! And your little dog too! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
..See like that.*
"THAT.IS.IT! I swear to Kami-sama, you make one more stupid comment about some sort of supernatural creature and I'm going to kill you! You'll be dragged to hell if I get my way! I will STRANGLE you until your either passed out or DEAD! And right now I don't care WHICH ONE IT IS!!!!"
*...*
*..wow.*
"WHAT."
*Have you thought about taking anger management classes?*
And this is where poor Kyo's life ends. Let it be said on his grave that he was a happy fellow, one who always spoke his mind.
*..Sooooooo, what is this story about?*
"Grrr..."
//A large iron pan appears in Jun's hand//
*Jun, HEELLOOOO??? Are you turnig into Jun-Wolf again?*
"Don't move."
//an evil glint is in her eyes..//
*Okay Jun relax, I'm going to do CP-What's with the pan? Why is your body on fire? Jun? JUN?! Why are you looking at me like that? Ju-//SMACK//*
Kyo is now unconcious.
"Well let's start the story!//smiles//"
And so with that small detainment over, it is now time to begin.
"It was a Friday afternoon in Tokyo, school had just let out and-
~SORRY!~ I'll have to stop here since I'm not done with the second part of the first chapter. I hope you understand what I meant by this being two parts. The second part has a lot less dialogue for those who like descriptions and details. Thanks for reading and please comment!
