Since this is still a Yu-Gi-Oh! world, I've decided to go ahead and do occasional news updates concerning the card game. This first update concerns the next Legendary Collection set. It's going to be called Legendary Collection 4: Joey's World. The cards in this set will span the Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, and Waking the Dragons (Doma) arc from the original anime. The three promos for the set will be Joey's Blue Flame Swordsman, Mai Valentine's Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation, and Marik's powerful Trap card, Card of Last will, which is apparently going to be so powerful that it'll be banned from being used in major tournaments.
You know, I'm actually not all that thrilled by the description of this set. Though I guess I'm mostly disappointed that this next Legendary Collection was going to be based on 5D's. I mean they did a set for GX, so it's only fair. Maybe 5D's is still too new or something. Ah well, I guess there's always next year. Still, at the very least they should've made the Legendary Knights from the Waking the Dragons arc into the promo cards for this set. I mean they used The Seal of Orichalcos as the promo for the last Legendary Collection set.
Anyway, Legendary Collection 4: Joey's World, is slated for release sometime in October. It's a little pricey though. So many of you might want to put this set on your Christmas lists.
