Introduction and Summery
This next tale, as the title implies, is a GX story. One that takes place after the events of the series. I always thought that there was a lot of room for someone to do a bunch of stories about Jaden that took place after the series. Stories where he traveled the world, making his name as a duelist, and taking out any supernatural evil that he came across. Sorta like that TV series about Hercules that was on in the mid 90's. This particular story though, isn't just a GX story about Jaden. It's also a crossover. No, it's not a crossover with the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, 5D's, or ZEXAL. That idea has been done to death. Why try and do something that an actual movie has already done successfully? No, this GX story crosses over with another anime series entirely. The series in question, is a little anime called Strawberry Panic.
Any Yu-Gi-Oh! fans unfamiliar with Strawberry Panic might want to take a few minutes to read about the series on Wikipedia before reading this. That'll give you some basic information on the original story and characters. Strawberry Panic fans that are unfamiliar with GX might want to do the same thing. Anyway, if any of you reading this are wondering how I'm crossing GX with Strawberry Panic, I'm basically crashing the Strawberry Panic universe into the main Yu-Gi-Oh! universe. In this story, the three prim and proper all girl schools from Strawberry Panic are three elite all girl duel academies. I got this idea from a fanfic that someone else had done, but I'm taking it a step further than that person did and having Jaden and a few other characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise actually show up. Here's the summery.
After being tricked into doing a favor for Maximillion Pegasus, Jaden Yuki finds himself on Astraea Island, an island home to three elite, all girl duel academies. As Jaden learns about the once friendly rivalry between the three academies and about the secrets of some of the students, he soon finds himself facing a force as powerful as the Sacred Beasts from his own academy, but far more evil.
This story is a little experimental for me, and perhaps a bit bold. I will say that this is mainly a GX story, so Jaden will be the primary main character. A few of the events from Strawberry Panic won't happen in this story. The ones that do happen will probably either be altered or will happen off screen.
A couple of other things to mention. First, because this is a GX story, don't expect to see any Synchro or Xyz monsters. Also, don't be surprised to see a few of the cards that Jaden uses in the manga. There will also be some stuff from the Yu-Gi-Oh! R manga, but I may have said too much.
DISCLAIMER: Just to be safe, I should probably say that I don't own anything from Strawberry Panic or the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. The idea for a couple of the cards that appear during the climax are more or less mine, but the rest is borrowed stuff. Enjoy.
