The Tale of Five Ninja’s

Sammie woke up that mourning tired. She went outside and the mist woke her up fast like always. “Cant wake up without a jolt of cold mist.” said Sammie with a happy sigh. Then she threw her only poke’ ball. “Go Micah!” she shouted as her eevee came out.
“Yah I know the feeling.” said Derek as she walked out behind and threw her only poke’ ball. “Go Star!” she said as her eevee came out.
“Hay, were are the others?” asked Sammie.
“Catie and Terra(Catie’s eevee)left earlier. They wanted to get some training in. As for Alysha she left early with Chelsea, came back, and went shopping, and was saying the whole walk out ‘I have to since no one else will. I swear, If I wasn’t here Derek would starve herself on accident again and Sammie would die of hunger on PERPOSE! Why am I the only responsible one.’ She was pretty ballistic this mourning. I wonder what ticked her off? Jolt(Alysha’s eevee) was really jumpy and worried. And don’t ask me were Chelsea and Dark(Chelsea’s eevee) went when they left. Their probably training again. ” said Derek.
“Huh? How did you know all that?” asked Sammie.
“I skipped sleeping last night to finish that book I was writing and saw them all leave.” said Derek with a smile and a cheerful look. Then “I wish for once I could get one of my books published but no one will even look at them.” said Derek pouting.
“I told you that you’ll need to go somewhere and actually try to get them published you nut! I mean staying in the small woods near Vermilion and route 6 isn’t going to help you.” said Sammie as she whacked Derek on the head.
“I know but I’m to lazy today to do it.” said Derek with a smile. At that moment Chelsea came in out of no where and tried to tackle Derek and Sammie but Derek dodged, and Sammie and Chelsea spun in a ball on the ground until they hit a tree. And Dark went and sat on the ground next to Star and Micah.
“Hi Chelsea. Were we’re you today?” asked Derek.
“I went out to torcher Jimmy and the rest of the boys at the dock . It was so fun. I got Jimmy into a yelling rampage and his best friend with the black hair and green eye’s nearly fell of the deck while trying to hit me!” said Chelsea as she fell flat on her back rolling and laughing.
“His name is Cory and why didn’t you invite us?!? I wanted to get Cory to wet himself in anger again!” said Sammie with a laugh.
“I think you two like them.” said Derek with a giggle.
“WE DO NOT!!” they both screamed ballistic.
“Then why are you so upset that I said that?” asked Derek with a giggle.
“Just drop it.” said Sammie. At that moment Catie dropped in trying to hit Derek on the head and she dodged again. And Terra walked up and tried to head butt star but Star dodged, than she sat down next to Micah, and Star sat back down.
“Speaking of drop it, Catie if you are going to drop in, don’t try hitting the one training to be a Sensory Ninja.” said Derek.
“Well, worth a shot. I can easily hit the others so I’m trying to hit the sensor. Is that so wrong?” asked Catie with a smile.
“No, just wont be easy.” said Derek with a giggle.
“Well, if she can hit you Derek you’ll be out cold, you cant even take more than three hits from me, much less Catie who trains to be a Strength Ninja.” said Sammie.
“And how is your Defense Ninja training going Sammie?” asked Derek with a smirk.
“I can take 6 hits from Catie so its nothing to laugh at!” said Sammie grinning as she stood up.
“If you say so.” said Derek with a giggle. “So how is your Stealth Ninja training going Chelsea? Its seams to be going well since I didn’t sense you at all until you started to attack. I need to get a lot better.” said Derek with a sigh.
“Its going great just like you said. And I will get you one of these days Derek! Your not that good yet!” she said with an overexcited smile as she jumped up. “Hey, where is Alysha?”
“She went off shopping in a rant. I don’t have a clue why.” said Derek with a sigh.
“Really? I guess it got to her.” said Chelsea.
“What?” asked Derek.
“Today she came to the docks with me, and when we were tormenting the boys, Daniel was able to tackle her down. I guess since she is training to be a Speed Ninja it really got to her…” said Chelsea sadly.
“I think the fact that it was Daniel got to her more. I mean, they have been rivals at everything since childhood and when one wins at something the other gets mad or starts mopeing while the winner gets over cocky.” said Derek with a sigh. “I don’t know what they see in each other but I guess its not my right to judge since I don’t like anyone.” said Derek.
“Yah right!” shouted Chelsea with a laugh. “You start blushing the moment we say the name Steven much less when you see him at the docks. No wonder you never come down there anymore. Your trying to hide that you like him!” said Chelsea laughing.
“I DON’T LIKE ANYONE! NO ONE!” shouted Derek as she started to blush.
“Yah, yah. Keep telling yourself that.” said Chelsea while still laughing. At this time Jolt came running up to the other eevee’s and since they were all together they went off to play. As the left Derek shouted to them, “Be back by midnight. Don’t forget about night training!” then she realized something and hid behind Sammie.
“What’s wrong?” asked Sammie.
“If Jolt’s here than Alysha isn’t to far behind and I can sense that she’s ticked!” said Derek.
“What! Then lets hide or run or something!” shouted Sammie. But it was two late. At that moment Alysha came up the path and glared at all of them they all shrunk back an inch.
“What are you doing just standing there?!? Get to work! Clean the house, cook dinner, or train! You have to do something!” she shouted at them.
“Yes ma’am!” they all shouted as Derek grabbed a broom and started to sweep the ten roomed house(two stories with a bathroom, kitchen, and living room downstairs, and seven bedrooms upstairs), as Catie ran off to train, as Sammie grabbed a paint brush and got back to painting the outside of the house, and as Chelsea ran to do the dishes.
“That’s better!” said Alysha with a huff as she went in to make dinner.
When Derek is bored she normally has a new story or idea going through her head that she might write in her books later. But today it was different. As Derek swept she was thinking ‘Back when all the natural disasters hit Kanto and a lot of us kids in this town lost our parents to the tornado’s and floods, it was hard. I bet none of them even had a plan. I remember thinking ‘This is going to be ruff. Without mom and dad Jeriod, Alysha, Adam, and I, will have to take care of ourselves. But we can do it! But how?’ Then I realized that we just needed a home and some food. So I went into the woods and got Star to get some machop, machoke, and machamp, to help me build a house for all of us. I knew that there were more kids besides us who were homeless now so I asked them if they would build us three big houses. They agreed. I didn’t want them to do it all on their own though so I pitched in. I didn’t tell Alysha about it until we we’re done, but while building I forgot something. I didn’t eat or sleep. In the end, right as we finished the last house, I collapsed of malnutrition. Star ran and got Alysha who nursed me back to health. Afterwards, all the boys, including Jeriod and Adam, Sammie’s brother Joey, and Catie’s brother Michal, moved into one of the big houses, which had 20 rooms, plenty enough for the boys. Then all the girls, including Chelsea’s sister Sarah, moved into the other big house, Except for Alysha, Chelsea, Sammie, Catie, and me. We moved into the 10 roomed small house because we wanted privacy when we started our ninja training. During the time I had been building the houses with the machop, machoke, and machamp, Steven, a nice boy from town with a talent for machinery, had been organizing groups of kids to go into the woods in search of edible berries so that they could eat. Steven and I had worked together on this and in the end it all turned out alright. All of us had homes and we knew the locations of all the edible berry tree’s in woods that hadn’t been taken out by the natural disasters. Us kids were able to survive on our own. Soon after we finished all of that all of the kids started decorating their houses and building new stuff for it, us included, and the boys started hanging out at the dock for fun and us five girls like to go down and play with them and torment a few of them once in a while. And the other girls go down there to have fun or flirt once in a while too.’
“Hey! That would make a good book!” said Derek out loud.
“Back to work!” shouted Alysha.
“Oops! Sorry Sis!” said Derek.
“I told you not to call me that!” she shouted.
“Sorry Alysha!” said Derek.
“That’s better!” shouted Alysha.
‘You know, I really haven’t been down to the dock lately. I bet if I went I could see Steven again too.’ thought Derek as she started to blush. ‘I don’t like him, I don’t like him, but it would be nice to hang out with him again.’ she thought.
“Daydreaming about Steven again?” whispered Chelsea with a grin and a giggle as she passed by while dusting after finishing the dishes.
“NO!” I whispered to her.
“Back to work!” shouted Alysha.
“Sorry Alysha!” we both said as we got back to work.
