Chapter 4 A Friend in the Fire.

Tsuyoshi

“She’s probably already Died…” Her words echoed in his head, as he looked down the ladder.
“No! She’s ok! I need to help her.” He said to himself trying to force her words out of his head. Green Rose was gone and he needed to find Izumi. “Izumi, I’m coming!” He steped on the ladder and started to climb down.
When he got to the end of the ladder he called out a Pokémon to light the way.
“Ponyta, I choose you!”
Ponyta was beamed out of her Pokéball. It’s firery main and tail lit the Darkness. Tsuyoshi gave her a huge. Ponyta licked his face.
“Good to see you too.” He smiled at her. ”I need your help to find a friend of mine. She might be hurt. Let’s find her.”
They started to walk down the cave. He had no idea what floor she was on. They were on the 1st basement cave. He know the caves very well. He had the record for the fastest run through the cave. So he know where to look.

Izumi
Izumi set there thinking about what had happened. “Why would an Onix attack a human like that?” She bit her thumb and tried to think why. “It just doesn’t make much sense.”
“Cler?!” Clefairy asked her wanting to know if she was all right.
She turned her head and smiled. “Sorry about that. I’m just a little scared.” She turned back and let her Pokémon out.
Aya and Sandshrew beamed out. They both run to her when they saw her in pain.
“Ha?!” Aya asked in censured.
“Shrew?!” Sandshrew asked too.
“I’m fine guys. I just broke my leg.” She gave them a hug. “I’m happy to see that you’re ok.”

PokéTalk

They turned to Clefairy.
“Do you know what happened?” Asked Sandshrew.
“All I know is we heard a scream. When we got here, we found her.” Clefairy told them. “All of my friends are looking for your friend. She needs help, but there is little I can do.” He looked down sadly.
“Thank you so much for Helping her!” Aya said Happily. “She might be new, but she’s a great trainer.” Aya smiled.
“Sandshrew, why don’t you help them find Tsuyoshi?” Asked Clefairy.
“Sure, what can I do?” He asked.
“Go find him. You can dig really well. You should be able to find him.” Said Clefairy.

Izumi

Sandshrew went over to Izumi and smiled. He tried to let her know where he was going.
After he told her he left.
“Good Luck!” Izumi told Sandshrew. She watched as Sandshrew dug a hole and he went down. She still felt tired. She needed to stay awake. She was in pain, but she tried to hide that from them. She didn’t want them to know.
Aya could tell something wasn’t right. She know that Izumi had broken her leg, but something else was wrong.

Tsuyoshi

“Where is she?” He said out loud. He looked around, trying to find her. He stepped up on a Rock to get a better view. The rock pushed him off! Tsuyoshi fell down hard. When he looked up he saw a Geodude looking at him. Ponyta jumped in front of him.

PokéTalk

“I’m sorry about that.” Ponyta said. “We’re looking for a friend. Have you seen a girl with blue hair?”
Geodude looked at her. Thought about it and then remembered something.
“I haven’t, but Cleffable’s group is looking for that boy. They say they found a girl with a broken leg.”
“That’s got to be her!” Ponyta smiled. “Where are they?”
“They live on the floor below us. Use that to get to them.” Geodude pointed to the ladder over to the right.
“Thank you!” Ponyta bowed and walked over to Tsuyoshi.

Tsuyoshi

Ponyta walked back over and the Geodude lay down and went back to sleep.
“Do you know where she is?” He asked her.
Ponyta pulled on his shirt trying to show him something. Tsuyoshi followed her to the ladder. She pointed her nose down the hole. Tsuyoshi started to go down when a Sandshrew popped up out of the ground. He stopped then heard something coming up the ladder. Clefable and his group come up the ladder.
They were all trying to get him to follow them.
“Ponyta, return.” Ponyta was beamed in to her Pokéball.
Tsuyoshi followed them down the ladder.

Izumi

Sweat started to drip from her chin. She could feel herself getting hot. She was not feeling to good. She tried her best not to show it.
From down the cave, she could hear someone coming. She looked down the cave and saw Tsuyoshi coming. When their eyes met, he ran to her. When he got there, he hugged her and stared to cry.
“I know you were alive! Are you ok?” He looked her in the eye.
“Yes, I’m fine. Thank you.” She blushed and turned her head. I just broke my leg.” She looked as if she was in pain. “What is this feeling? Is it him?” She asked herself.
She looked at him and everything went black. Tsuyoshi caught her in his arms. She had fainted.
“Izumi, it’s okay now. I’ll get you out of here.
“Ponyta, I choose you!”

Chapter 3 A Knight in Pink Armor.

Growlithe beamed out of his Pokéball. The Onix roared and dived at him.
“Growlithe, use Leer!”
Growlithe’s eyes glowed Red! He stared at Onix. Onix stopped and couldn’t move! Growlithe had caught him off guard!
“Growlithe, use Toxic!”
Growlithe opened his mouth and spit a green hairball at Onix. Onix didn’t have a chance to dodging it. He was too big. The Hairball hit him and Onix turned a slight green. He had been poisoned!
Onix roared in pain! He graved a bolder and through it at Growlithe! Growlithe just jumped out of the way.
“Growlithe, use Flamethrower!”
He opened his mouth and took a deep breath. When he exhaled, a huge stream of fire shoot out at Onix. It hit him with full force! Where Onix once was, is a huge fireball!
Growlithe waited. He know it wasn’t over yet, but it soon would be. Onix tried one more attack to take out Growlithe. He Slammed the ground where Growlithe was. Tsuyoshi’s heart sunk. He didn’t see if Growlithe was all right. He could only see Onix there.
“Growlithe, are you ok?!” Tsuyoshi yelled!
Growlithe leapt out from behind Onix.
“Growlithe, You’re ok!” With tears in his eyes, “Growlithe use Take Down!”
Growlithe stood still. He was building up the energy to attack Onix. Like a gauge, his eyes started to fill up with energy. When his eyes were glowing purple, he lunged at Onix. When he touched Onix, there was an exploitation of energy! Purple Rings flow out of Growlithe, and hit Onix, knocking him out!
Growlithe stood there knowing the fight was over. All of a sudden, he fell to the ground. He was exhausted. Take Down was not easy to do.
“Growlithe, return.” With a smile on his face he hugged the Pokéball. “Good job Boy. You did good.”
Tsuyoshi reached into his pocket and pulled a Duskball out.
“Go Pokéball!”
He through the Duskball at Onix. Suddenly a Green Rose flew out of the darkness. It hit the Duskball sending it back to it’s owner.
“Onix, return.” Said a woman’s voice.
Onix was beamed into a Pokéball in her hand. She steped into the light. She looked about 5’7” and 130lbs. Her hair was green and in a ponytail. It was hanging over her right shoulder. Her eyes were also Green. She wore a black cape with green lining and had a Tuxedo on. She wore a mask that covered half of her face. She had a wicked smile on her face.
“Who are you!” Tsuyoshi yelled!
She just laughed.
“Answer me! Why did you attack us! Izumi… Izumi…” He tried to say it, but he couldn’t.
“Be Died?” She Finished for him.
He looked up a stared at her. His fists were closed, and ready to hit her. She just smiled back at him.
“Why do you care? You don’t even know her!” She said with pure delight, and then laughed.
“Shut Up! I might have just met her, but I still care about her!” Tears run down his face. “I’ll ask you again, Who are you?!” He gave her a pursing look.
“Oh, I sorry. Were my words that harsh? Did I through some daggers at you?” She said with a sarcastic childish voice. She smiled an evil smile. He could she joy in her eye for what had happen.
“I am the Green Rose.” She bowed to him. “Why I attack her, is none of your business!” She waited a second. She pulled out a pocket watch and looked at it. She raised her hand to her face in a panic. In the same voice as before, “Oh my goodness!”
He looked stunned at her. “What?” As soon as he said that, he know he shouldn’t have.
She looked up at him sadly. “I don’t have any more time to play with you now.” A tear ran down her cheek “If you hurry, she might still be alive!” She waved at him and started to walk away.
“Wait! Stop!” He yelled! He was mad and did understand her.
She stopped and turned her head. Her voice went cold. “Will you come after me and let her die? She’s probably already died, but are you willing to risk it?” She stopped, and started to walk away. She know he wouldn’t stop her now.
He couldn’t do anything. She was right. He needed to go find Izumi. He turned and walked to the ladder.

Izumi

“Tsuyoshi HELP!” She screamed! She watched Tsuyoshi as she fell. She could feel the Darkness pulling her down. She started to cry. “Don’t cry! Stop Crying!” She tried to stop but couldn’t. As she fell she could see her past. She saw her mom and dad holding her tight.
“Mom, I love…” Everything went black!
She dropped her cup of tea. Something was wrong, but what?
“Usagi, are you alright?” Her friend ask.
“Yes, I’m fine.” She looked out the window. She know something had happened to her daughter. “Izumi, please be ok.” She bowed her head and prayed.
She could hear someone. She could fell them helping her. She wanted to sleep. She felt so tired, but they were calling to her.
“Cle, Clefairy!”
She opened her eyes to see a group of Pokémon. There were Clefairies, Cleffas, and one Clefable. They all jumped for joy when they saw her open her eyes.
“Did you save me?” She set surprised. “Origato!” She smiled at them.
She tried to stand and fell over in pain. “Ouch! Hu! My leg, it’s broken!”
The Pokémon helped her set down. A Clefairy walked up and gave her some herbs.
“Thank You.” She gave her a hug. “Can you help me find my friend?” She Asked them.
“Cler.” Said the Clefairy.
After she told them what he looked like, they went to go find him. Only the Clefairy that gave her the herbs stand with her.
“Thank you for your help.” She looked up. “Tsuyoshi, please come quick!”

Chapter 2 Tsuyoshi and Mt. Moon

Aya beamed out of her Pokéball, Ready to fight.
“Seel, I choose You!” Fumiko’s Seel Beamed out with a smile, “Seel, are you Ready to show the flat chested one who’s boss?” She laughed.
“Uuuurrr! My chest size has nothing to do about this!” Izumi almost through her Pokéball at her. “Stay clam. She’s just a moron!” She told herself while grinding her teeth. “Let’s just start the battle, okay! Gees!”
They stared at each other. Their eyes were locked. Aya and Seel were the same way. They waited for the first command from their trainers. The near by Sakura trees (Cherry) blow in the wind. A Sakura blossom sailed to the ground. As it dropped, time seemed to go slow.
“Aya, use tackle!”
Aya leapt into the air and started to spin. She flow straight at Seel.
“Seel, use Water Spot!”
Seel sprayed water into the air. The water blinded Aya, just enough to make her miss by an inch. Seel jumped out of the way and Aya almost hit a tree!
“Aya! Look out for the Tree!” Izumi yelled!
Aya recovered and turned around for another pass.
“Aya, use Agility and then Tackle!”
“Seel, use Ice Wind!”
Aya started to glow. She spun even faster! She raced after Seel! Just when she was about to hit, a blast of freezing Icy wind hit Aya with full force! Aya had no chance of dodging it. She was going to fast! The Icy Wind froze half of her body, and she fell to the ground! Aya hit the ground hard.
“Aya!” Izumi Screamed! “Are You All Right!?”
“Seel, use Headbutt Now! Good bye Usami Izumi!” Fumiko said with a smile.
“Aya! Look OUT!!” She Screamed!

Izumi held Aya in her arms. Tears ran down her face. Aya lay there in pain. There was a crack in her jewel.
“Fumiko… Thank you for not going easy on us.” She said trying to hold the tears back. “I know that Aya feels the same way.”
“Izumi, Aya, We will meat again. I hope when we do, we can battle again with our new skills.” She Wanted to laugh. She wanted to be herself…. But she know she didn’t need to.
“Seel, return.” She turned and walked away.
“Fumiko!”
She stopped and looked.
“Yes?” She wondered what Izumi might say.
“Next time…. Next time we will Win!”
Fumiko looked at Izumi Stunned! She couldn’t think of anything to say! After she got herself focused, she lifted her hand to her face and laughed.
“We’ll see about that!”
She waved good bye and walked away.

“Aya, return.”
Aya was beamed back into the Pokéball.
“You did really good! Next time, we’ll Win!”
Izumi headed to the PokéCenter to help Aya.

After Aya was better, Izumi took one more look at her home. She wouldn’t be back until she has gotten her first badge, The Boulder Badge.
She Know Brock wasn’t easy to beat. She know about his Onix and his other Rock Pokémon. She needed more Pokémon for her team.
“Ok, I need to catch some Pokémon on the way to Pewter City.” She Opened her map to see where she needed to go.
“Hmmmm. It will take me about a week to get there. Let’s see. Route 4 to Mt. Moon, then Route 3. There should be some good Pokémon there.” She smiled. “Can’t wait to see what!”

Route 4

As Izumi walked down Route 4, she kept her eyes opened. She know there was no water Pokémon here, but she needed more for the team.
In the corner of her eye, she saw something move. She turned Quickly. Their eyes locked.
“Alright! A Sandshrew!” She said to herself quitly.
“Aya, I choose You!”
Aya leapt out of the Pokéball.
“Aya, Water Gun Now!”
A stream of water shoot out of her top point. It was a direct hit!
“Aya, Tackle!”
She flow at Sandshrew and knocked him out.
“Pokéball, Go!”
She through a Greatball at the Pokémon. The Pokéball stopped right in front of it. Opened and beamed the Sandshrew in. Then it dropped to the ground.
The Pokéball wiggled. Then the light in the center turned off.
“Aya, We did it!” She said as she jumped in the air with her hands high over her head.
She dashed over to the Pokéball and opened it. Sandshrew was beamed out. She gave him a Big hug.
“Welcome to the Team, Sandshrew!” Sandshrew smiled and welcomed his new trainer with a big hug.
Izumi walked to Mt. Moon. It was getting late, so she stopped to make camp. She let Aya and Sandshrew out to walk around. She felt safer with them out. She liked hearing the Night’s song. She got a fire going and stared to make dinner.
She stopped Suddenly. The Night had stopped singing. Someone or something was close. She got to her feet and looked around. Chills ran down her spine. She could feel someone watching her.
“Aya, Sandshrew, Come here.” She Whispered. They come closer to protect her.
“Aya, Sandshrew, combined Water Gun and Sand-attack! Shoot there!”
They both attacked where Izumi was pointing. Mud shoot at the person who was hinding.
“AAaahhh! I Give!” Came a boy’s voice.
“Stop our Attack.” They both stopped.
“Show yourself!” She wasn’t to happy about being spied on.
“Good thing I didn’t take a bath.” She said to herself.
She watched as he came into view. When she saw him, she found herself speechless!
He was 6ft tall, 180 lbs. He had Red hair and Brown eyes. He had a red shirt and black pants with flames on them. And.. he was Gorgeous! All she could do was stair!
“Sorry about scaring you. I saw the fire and wanted to see who it was.” He rubbed the back of his head and just laughed. “I’m Tayama Tsuyoshi.” He bowed.
“I’m Usami Izumi. Nice to meet you. Sorry about the mad.” She could help but laugh.
“It’s ok. So where are you going?”
I’m going to Pewter City to get my first badge.”
“Ok. Need help going through Mt. Moon? I can get you through ina few hours.” He smiled.
She thought about it. She needed to get through there fast.
“Sure, thank you.”

Mt. Moon

Izumi followed Tsuyoshi as they entered the cave.
“This your first time here?”
“Yes. It is.” She blushed.
“I thought so. Don’t worry, I’ll get you through.” He smiled.
“I hope it’s not to much trouble for you.” She hoped she wasn’t. She felt safe with him here.
“Don’t worry. I love helping Girls out. Especially cute ones like you.”
“NANI!?” (what) She blushed. This was the first boy to say this to her. They usually were always around Fumiko. “HA! Take that Fumiko!” She said to herself.
“LOOK OUT!” Tsuyoshi pushed her out of the way.
When she looked up, she saw an Onix in front of them!
“An Onix! But they don’t live in Mt. Moon! How!” She yelled.
“I don’t know. This isn’t Normal!” He yelled back.
The Onix roared and went for Izumi! There was nothing they could do! The ground under Izumi Gave way. She screamed! Tsuyoshi run over to save her! He could only watch as Izumi fell into the Darkness.
“Tsuyoshi, HELP!!”
He watched as the Darkness swallowed her.
“IZUMI!!! Izumi, are you OK!!!??” He yelled in a panic and with tears in his eyes!
He stood up and turned to the Onix.
“You will be MINE! Growlithe, GO!”

Prologue

“Hi everybody! I’m Usami Izumi! I live here in Cerulean where the famous Misty lives! Hmmm… Well, tomorrows my birthday, and I’ll be 16 years old. I can’t Wait! The reason I’m so happy is because that’s the age you have to be to become a Pokémon Trainer! That’s Right, I’m going to become a Pokémon Master! I need to work hard, so I can beat the champion, Ash Ketchum!” ‘Giggles” “Then I’ll give him a big Kiss!” She puts her hands together and starts daydreaming with stars in her eyes. She shacks her head to focus. “Sorry about that. I’m in his fan club.” She puts her hand behind her head and sticks her tong out with a smile. “Well, I need to go to bed.” She gets ready for bed and starts to dream about Ash.
Usami Izumi, a 15year old girl who lives in Cerulean City. She’s about 5ft 6 in, and 120lbs. She has long blue hair and forest green eyes. Tomorrow she will embark on a quest to become the next Pokémon Master!

Chapter 1 : A Friend and a Partner.

The sun rouse over the mountains. You could hear a Dodrio starting to crow. Izumi opened her eyes and set up in bed. She stretched her arms over her head and then looked out the window. Her beautiful face had a huge smile on it. She know it was almost time. She was now 16 years old. It would be her last day at home for a while.
She got out of bed and went to take her morning shower. After she was don, she got dressed and went to eat breakfast. She wore a black shirt and pants, and a long blue coat. It was buttoned in the middle and went down to her blue shoes. She wanted the other trainers to know that she was a Water Trainer.
When she got to the table, her mom gave her a big hug!
“I’m So proud of you Izumi-chan!” She said trying not to cry. “My little Girl has chosen the Path of a Pokémon Master! Happy Birthday Dear!” She gave her a gift.
“Thanks Mom!” She opened the box and pulled her shacking hand out of the box.
“Mom… this is an official Pokémon League Hat!” She was stunned! It was the same hat that Ash Had! She couldn’t believe it!
“Thank You Mom!!” She gave her Mom big hug.
She waved good-bye to her Mom she walked down the street. She wore her new hat with Pride.
“Now I can take Him.” She thought to herself.
She finally got to the gym. She looked at it as if it was her first time. She has see the Sisters’ show many times. She Wondered why she felt that she was going to a new place that she’d never been to?
“Well, here goes nothing!” She took a deep breath and started walking to the door.
She stopped suddenly, when she heard a laugh. She Know this laugh. With an annoyed look on her face, she turned around to see Nishikawa Fumiko coming to her.
Fumiko is 6ft tall, and 130lbs. She has short white hair and white eyes. She also has a better figure then Izumi, and Always lets her know this. She too turned 16 and is starting her quest today as well.
“Ohayou Fumiko-cahn! How are you doing today?” She said with a fake smile.
“Doing good Izumi-chan!” She smiled and looked at her. “Wow, I think you’ve grow a little!”
“What!?” Izumi blushed.
“But your still small compared to me!” She laughed.
Izumi almost slugged her in the face!
“Oh WOW! Is that an official Pokémon League Hat!”
“Yes, my Mom got it for me for my Birthday!” She Brushed her hand over it slowly with pride.
“You know, if you were to cut your hear, you’d look like Ash.” She smiled.
“You Really think So!?” She asked happily.
“Yes, your flat Chest would help you look just like him.” She started to laugh.
Izumi couldn’t take it. ‘POW!’ Fumiko lay on the ground with a black eye. Izumi stormed into the gym.

“Ouch, that Hurt Izumi! You didn’t have to hit me that hard.”
“Well, you know I hate it when you remind me that I’m a little small for my age.” Izumi just smiled.
Fumiko was about to say something when Misty walked in the room. She was 25 now and the Gym Leader. She looked the Same, just a little older and prettier.
“Welcome Both of you! I’m Misty, The Cerulean Gym Leader. Today you two will embark on you adventure to become a Pokémon Master. You will have to decide what kind you will Be.” She looked at them and smiled remembering the fun she had with Ash, Pikachu, and Brock. “Today you will receive your Pokédex and get to choose from these three Pokéballs. Inside these Pokéballs is a Pokémon. With this Pokémon, you will be able to make your dreams come true. To make it fair, we have given a piece of paper with a number on it when you come in. The one who has the number one, can now choose a Pokéball.
You may not open it, until you have Chosen.”
Izumi’s heart sank. She had number two. Fumiko just laughed and stepped forward.
“I guess Lady Luck likes me.” She laughed again.
Izumi was trying to stay clam. You could see the veins on her head popping out.
Fumiko walked up and choose one of the Pokéballs.
“I choose You!” She said with a smirk.
The Ball opened and beamed out a Seel!
“Congratulations Fumiko, you have received a Seel!”
“Ok, your turn. I hope you get a small one to match your Size.” She just Laughed.
Izumi was using all of her power to stay clam. She walked up to the Pokéballs.
“Two left. What are they?” She wished she know. She sighed and graved one of them.
“I choose You!” She said.
The Beam of light leaped out of the Pokéball. After the light was gone…
“Congregation! You have Received a Staryu.”
Izumi gave Staryu a Big hug.
“Ohayou Staryu, I’m Usami Izumi. I’m your new Friend and Partner.” She said with tears of joy. “Will you help me with my Dreams?’
“He ya!” Said Staryu happily.
“Arigatou! (Thank you) I will call you Aya.”
Misty watched with tears in her eyes. It was just like her when she got her Staryu. She know that she was a good trainer.
After they got their Pokédexes they left the Gym.
“Izumi-chan?’
Yes, Fumiko-chan?”
“Now we are true Rivals. Remember, I’m going to win this Race.” She smiled.
“Not if I have anything to say about it.”
They Stared at each other and then shock hands.
“Good luck!” They said at the same time.
“Now let the Adventure Begin!” Izumi yelled!
“Yes, but before we go…”
“Sure, why not. Aya, I choose You!”
