print screen power! - go west or die

I was just browsing some Gintama scans in AnimePaper and suddenly I saw my “Go West Or Die” as a random wallpaper on the top of the site. Of course, as the creator, I can easily recognize it.

It just made my day for some reason…

[Tik Tok] by President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino

I just followed my old classmate's tumblr. I read some of her posts and I found this funny "Tik Tok" revision she reblogged from an another tumblr user.

--------------------

(1) Wake up in the morning thinking of Shalani
Grab my glasses, I’m out the door, I’m gonna hit the rally
(2) Before I leave, pick a shirt that’s yellow and black
Cuz when I leave for the night I ain’t comin back

(3) I’m talking, leading in all the polls, polls
(4) Trying out yellow clothes, clothes
Media blowin up my phones, phones

(5) Drop toppin’, scolding my sister’s baby
(6) For cryin out Manny V, V
Tryin to get some popularity

Don’t stop, make it pop
Voters vote Aquino up
(7) Tonight, Laban sign
Till the yellow sunrise
Tik tok, on the clock
But the rally don’t stop, no
(8) Noy noy no-oy, Noy noy no-oy

--------------------
song notes:

1. Shalani is the President's girlfriend. The President is not yet married despite being 50 yrs old (I think)

2. President Noynoy always wear a black and yellow shirt with a ribbon design or Philippines design

3. During the May 2010 National Election, Aquino was leading in the popularity polls for presidentiables

4. As mentioned in 2. Yellow is Noynoy's trademark color as sign of democracy and also the trademark color of his parents Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. & former president Corazon "Cory" Aquino during the Marcos administration

5. Refers to Josh, son of Kris Aquino (actress and sister of Noynoy)

6. Refers to Manny Villar, one of Noynoy's closest rivals during the Presidential Election, he was second to Noynoy in the popularity polls, but during the vote counting, Villar was the third highest and replaced by Joseph Estrada (another presidentiable) as second to Aquino

7. Laban sign is a hand gesture (resembles the letter "L") popularized by Noynoy's mother, Corazon Aquino, during the EDSA revolution (Marcos Administration)

DevArt Status... again

I'm really happy that my works in DevArt are really appreciated! My "deviations" have many faves!!! I'm so happy.

Aside from the 3 cards that I featured on my last DevArt Status, some works (that I already uploaded here in theO) are pretty much loved the moment I posted them at DA.

loving you, baby (currently 6 faves)

I have to admit that most of my works aren't really that appreciated here in theO. But that doesn't mean that I'll be moving in DA. Here in theO is my home and I'm still going to continue making works.

project design

A design I made for my El Filibusterismo summary notebook (since I can't think of any other design and I'm too lazy to cut colored papers). It features Lucy Heartfilia and Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail. I drew them as little kids.

It will be available soon in DevArt and here in theO.
