In the magical land of Equestria, in the Crystal Empire, lives Cadence, known as Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. She was teaching* Princess Aqua "Ocean" Blue, she is the daughter of the Queen of the Water-Dwellers. "Aqua, can you bring me that ol' water spellbook your father is letting me borrow?" Cadence asked, as Aqua had gotten it up with her magic, carefully, then placed it onto the table. "Here you go." Aqua, still being a filly, was trying to get her Cutie-Mark in levitation spells. When, eventually, she picked up her cup, but she was tired and dropped it onto Cadence's hooves. "Sorr- oh stars. It's time for school. Hmm." Aqua had slipped on her backpack and went out the door, then spotted ShadowRunner, her PFF, who was also Alicorn. ShadowRunner was then following Aqua and chatting, when they had reached the school. "Hello, Mz. Thunder Dreams." Aqua said to the teacher. Then, at that moment, the sky had darkened into shadows and horror. "What the hay is that?!" ShadowRunner yelled, then pointed at a mysterious Unicorn, the one responsible for it. He had approached the school, the fillies colts and teachers/principles ran screaming, cowering away, as Aqua had curled up into a ball and hid. ShadowRunner was glaring at the Unicorn, his name, King Sombra.** ShadowRunner was corrupted by Sombra, and she attacked Aqua and and Mz. Thunder Dreams. She also harmed the other fillies, and killed Aqua's mother/father, Wavy Wishes and Avalanche StarFall.

"ShadowRunner....why?" Cadence said when she had walked up, then, eventually, she had overpowered the two strange ponies. Aqua had ran to her old house, looking for her sister, FireBlast.*** She had found her, hiding, and she had slowly approached her. "FireBlast...Mom and Dad are...are..." Aqua couldn't finish her sentence. She had broken down and started sobbing. "Dead?" FireBlast frowned. "I can't believe it, WHO KILLED THEM?!!?" She then yelled. "Shadow..." Aqua wouldn't dare. She just couldn't. Something just happened to her friend. She wouldn't say. "SHADOW?! HUH??" FireBlast was raging, it had transformed her into White Flame, bringing her evil spirit out of her. Celestia had appeared. "I'm sorry about your parents.." She said, making Aqua sob louder, and White Flame didn't want to deal with it. "Shut up already!!" She yelled. "Ahem.." Celestia said, and they turned their attention to her. "With ShadowRunner having her new abilities, and knowing how to get to your house, you must leave. I'm sorry. But I do not want you both to be at risk." Celestia said, then they left. Noises and shadows at night were frightening, FireBlast and Aqua were screaming. They were separated after a few minutes of being in the dark alleys of Manehatten, when Aqua had run all the way to the Everfree. She had ran so long, she had passed out. She was lost, and that's all she knew.
